🤢 the advent calendar made me want to vomit. I'm not a prude, but there's just something about the way she goes on about sex toys that makes me uncomfortable.

The movie was "so bad" 🙄 so bad she said it four times.

Bet she's sitting hoping the restaurant will offer them a freebie 🙄

Advent calendar: I think it makes us uncomfortable because she looks uncomfortable discussing certain items. The video is also cut and put together in a weird way, she doesn't always finish talking about one thing and it cuts away right to next.
Also, in a calendar like this, there is always something you won't use. Don't force yourself using a butt plug if you're not into anal play but don't act like a terrified school girl who just learnt that there's more to sex than penis in a vagina :rolleyes:

It kind of annoys me that people like them who spend crazy amounts of money on all sorts of things for themselves, are now trying to save money by offering cheap affordable wine to their wedding guests. We all have been to events and parties where you can tell the booze was of the cheaper sort and while it's always nice to drink for free 😁 it's kind of disrespectful to the guests to be serving cheap wine.

Honestly, I'd be a bit gutted if I went to someone's wedding and got "treated" to wine from Aldi. Unless I know the couple are really challenged financially and are doing everything on a budget. But Katie and Geoff aren't. They're just stingy with random things.
You can find nice wines at Aldi, and I shop there regularly but it's not necessarily special occasion stuff.

No I totally agree with you! I'm an aldi shopper, but if I were to provide wines at an event such as a wedding, id maybe go a bit posher than aldi, mostly because they can afford it.
 
Side note, as someone who’s worked in hospitality for years it’s annoyed me how she’s dealt with the restaurant thing 😒
Only having starters after that long is obviously a cock up, so why not complain to the staff at the time so they can sort it out? Rather than going home and slagging them off on Instagram.
It’s just like the customers that say nothing at the time, when the staff could actually put it right, then go home and write terrible reviews on Tripadvisor.
Fair enough her review wasn’t harsh, but she’s clearly waiting for a freebie, if she was anxious to complain at the time at least write them an email. Bleh

Roughing it at Aldi and Nando’s is probably like a charity mission for them, like the royals going to a war torn state 🤦🏼‍♀️
Also with the nuggets, I think Katie thought they were this new exciting thing when they’ve been out for ages 😂 she wouldn’t know though bless her.

I have a feeling she was hoping they'd supply the wine for the wedding but it's different for a brand to send an influencer on a gifted trip (like they did with Katie and some others before Covid) or send her a few bottles of wine here and there. Like, trips and gifts are part of the marketing budget but kitting out a 100-person wedding is a whole different story? I wonder if maybe they offered a discount and she was disappointed because she wanted it all free? Or she asked, but since they must have noticed that she would work with any brand that makes booze, and also (I SINCERELY HOPE THEY DID) they might have seen all these Stories of Katie getting smashed, and being sick, and "never drinking again" (how is the whole thing #drinkingresponsibly?), and decided they don't want to be associated and supply freebies for the wedding of someone like Katie.
OR - I know, crazy idea - their wines are actually not that nice. Katie was playing along when being paid for partnerships and enjoying the freebies, but she doesn't actually like the wine and wouldn't want to serve it at her wedding.
I guess we will never know.
