I completely take your point; I didn't word it very well, yes of course KFP afforded the role of 'mini-me'. As I said in another post, I had no idea of the word at 17, other than the one my narc was portrayed it as. P is still young and has her life ahead of her - I hope it is a long and happy one. But we know that KFP will not change her behaviour towards her at all. There are many survivors of narc parents here, and yes it takes time and courage to make the break. I was well into adulthood myself. I wish P a happy outcome to a difficult situation.
