We had a little shop in Brighton once that sold odd plastic figurines, and not many of them. My friends and I used to walk past it, and said it must be a front for something dodgy. Once we went in out of curiosity, was just one big burly man sitting behind a counter with hardiy anything on the shelves, they weren’t even trying to pretend it was a normal shop. He grunted at us, we looked around and left sharpish. It stayed open for about two years, eventually got raided and closed down. Yes we were right, there was money laundering, drugs and a whole lot of other stuff going down.
It‘s not a particularly interesting story, but reason I’m mentioning it was because of where the shop was…..right opposite the Brighton law courts
Two years they managed to keep going, like waving it in the face of the law, just shows you what these people can get away with and the front they have. I’ve always thought that frog stuff is weird, can’t see anyone would buy it, the whole range is tat and very unattractive, it’s really suss.
