I know everyone has said so much and they're all correct. My children are both late 20's now and their favourite Christmas was when we didn't have a traditional Christmas dinner... they asked for egg and chips (something I never cook) my husband and kids still talk about egg and chips Christmas dinner as the best dinner ever.

Just catching up, for my two pence worth, I grew up with a single mum and we were piss poor and she couldn't ever afford much at all and I do not even remember what I got. I just loved having cosy Christmas together 🩷 also food wise I cannot remember what we ever ate 🙈 but I always remember just having lovely quality time together. Christmas light hunting sounds a ball I'm going to do that myself ☺️ You sound like an incredible mum x

I’d simply cancel if I was one of the friends.
Also on a school night for the child. I know it’s not all that late on, but surely she would be better off at home, bathed, story time and bed at a reasonable hour. Not over stimulated by loud uncouth “aunties”, and her mother will most likely drink drive. Read the wiki.

This sounds like heaven to me!! duck any fake Christmas insta experience this is exactly what kids want ❤️❤️ hope your ok and remember where all here for you ❤️❤️ don't let these fake insta lives make you feel guilty I promise one day it'll all be over and these insta kids are going to end up needing therapy due to their parents exploiting them, something I know for a fact you kids won't 🥰 xxx

I’m not sure if you are Wirral based but the lights by mine are so nice in West Kirby, there is a big tree that’s beautifully lit. Nice coffee shops local also 🥰 glad you are OK. 🩷
