This thread is life hahahaha
He didn’t get to meet Paddington unfortunately but he did get his moment in the sun or drawn on an iPad [/ATTACH]
There probably isn't a name for it other than El Scamo therapy. Why hasn't she said exactly what was the experimental treatment she took him to Mexico for

Has anything been in the media about Derek's parents and how they are feeling and if they approve of madam' hogging the limelight by sharing private info about their son.
I would be mortified if it was my son, and would make my my feelings known!

It's actually hard to pin down much from the draper side.
His mum and dad would be 84-85 looking at a report when they had there flu jabs in 2008 probably related to Derek being in government employ so to speak.
There is also reports of them not being able to visit Derek due to restrictions but apart from that not much.
Someone might be able to dig deeper but my five minutes were enough.
So I would say they are keeping quiet.
Oh my Lord is it only tinnitus?! Yeah that’s a super annoying thing, but the headline made out like it was a terminal thing.
I can't wrap my head around the amount of coverage Derek's illness and now death is getting. It's quite possibly the most bizarre thing I've ever seen in my life.
Anyone got any theories on why the media are behaving this way over this one person/family above all others? Even now the tide has turned and more people are not afraid to say negative things about it they are doubling down and still dragging it on. I'm finding it bewildering in a Twilight Zone sort of way.

I can't abide Martin Lewis. He is so shouty and flailing I find it unbearable to watch or listen to him. I probably miss out on useful advice but I've survived so far.
i cannot stand him - the shouting and stare eyes. He comes across as quite unhinged.
It's oddly satisfying to know someone else feels this. He's one of those people you "aren't allowed" to criticse on places like X. I appreciate that he does help people but I think he also scaremongers a lot. I couldn't roll my eyes hard enough when he stated debit cards could become "danger cards" if people weren't careful with spending. Like, duh.
Martin Lewis is autistic it was revealed recently. Probably why he comes across as a bit manic. He lost his mother as a young boy which must have been traumatic and that can last a lifetime
I started folllowing Mse in 2006 and without him I would have not climbed out of a mountain of debt. He also taught me many shopping tricks to manage my budget.
Amen, luckily my tinnitus is not as 'loud' as it could be, but when I first got it after a horrendous headcold/ear infection I felt very very frustrated and it took a long time to tune it out in the day, though I still wake up at night sometimes and can't ignore it.I wish people would refrain from saying that it's only tinnitus. Tinnitus is a life changing injury. It can be caused by medicine prescribed by a doctor. I have it 3 years and nearly ended my life when I first got it. It is 24/7 torture. You don't get used to it, you live with it because you either live with it or kill yourself. Every morning when I wake up, the first thing I hear is hissing.people with tinnitus have a higher suicide rate. I think it's great that Susannah talks about it, as there is limited research into it.
I'm glad to see someone else has issues with Martin Lewis. I know he means well, but something about him has always rubbed me up the wrong way. He's too bloody shouty too.i cannot stand him - the shouting and stare eyes. He comes across as quite unhinged.

What a lovely suggestion, do you think there's somewhere we could start a petition?

Well, as with all these celebrity diagnosis' I'd like to see official medical records before I believe it. Maybe I'm austistic too and if I was I certainly wouldn't share it with anyone. Neither would I tell people to invest their money into Icelandic banks. I'm glad he helped you and I'm glad he helps lots of people. Thankfully as we all these people on TV there's an off switch!
