I can't being myself to listen to their bullshit takes on Roe V Wade. It's not like they ever have anything insightful to say, what could they possibly bring to the table on this? They're out of their depth on anything more serious than favourite Irish corn snacks ffs 😂

I was thinking the EXACT same - they are trying to be more easy breezy and it just doesn't work. They don't have the natural wit that Vogue and Joanne have.
 
I don't know if it's down to the calibre of guests or their lack of interview skills but the episodes with guests never quite land for me. If they could only do some research and hire an editor they could get the podcast back on track without all those gimmicky guests. They had that match maker guy, a psychic and now a sex expert 🙃 always someone whose "expertise" is incredibly difficult to quantify and all of those episodes are just rubbish imo. The only one I can remember enjoying was with Jen's Journey.
 
I’ve never known anyone to love the sound of their own voice as much as Karla. On this week’s pod she just does not stop talking, and nodding dog Jen beside her with her “yeah” every two seconds. She’s like that annoying person in the smoking area who talks so loud and everyone can hear and they’re just talking complete and utter shite

It’s like her sentences don’t finish and she just keeps going and going and going

Doesn’t she work for Dyson in real life? Surely she has an obligation to declare that every time she posts one of their products.

Respectfully I disagree. When you monitoze your social media, you need to be transparent if you want to be seen as credible, and Karla is neither here. She’s not being paid to post, but I’m sure it’s doing her no harm professionally, and I’m sure she gets Dyson products for free or heavily discounted, so therefore her opinion on these products is not the same as someone who has spent their hard earned cash and has no bias in favour of the company.
The fact she works for Dyson is important context when she offers an opinion on their products, and she never mentions it despite featuring the products regularly. Shes well able to offer negative opinions on other products/brands but never has a bad word to say about Dyson 🧐

What was yesterdays episode?! Karla just non stop talking for an hour, barely letting Jen get a word in.

God love her - Jen isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the box is she?!

She just loves to feel like Billy big balls and like she is the authority on love island and reality tv. She is honestly the biggest waffler. I was listening while doing some housework and my husband came in from outside and said will you please turn that one off she is insufferable and relentless does she ever shut up 😆

It was literally non-stop.

I'm the same, I always have it on in the background when cleaning. It's just such a hate listen.
 
Anyone notice the subtle racism in the new pod episode. Did jen say black twitter? And when Karla was saying she does not see summer with josh or deji , why not mention the white men like Billy or Adam or was it only considered for summer to be with another black person in her mind?

In their slight defence, black Twitter is actually a thing. From what I gather, it’s basically like a sub group of POC who tweet but all would have have the same views and use a lot of slang words that would be POC sort of language. Not sure if I’m explaining it right. Kinda like Fiat 500 Twitter too which is white girls full of filler who moan about everything😂 but why would Jen be afraid to say anything? Black Twitter did expose Graceys old tweets but if you’ve nothing to hide why would you be afraid
