You can really tell that she feels like she as uncovered some hidden gem of a song and it’s usually the worst song ever or something that’s just generic and played often on the radio. I remember her saying before that she doesn’t listen to herself back on the pod. She really could do with it tbh. We all have to be able to be self critical and know when we are coming across as overbearing especially in work. It could help her a lot in how she comes across

I've said it before but I just wanna crawl into a hole everytime I hear 'KARLAAAAS STOMPER OF THE WEEK'. Gives me the ick.

It is so obvious she doesn't listen to the episodes back.

I haven't really since this mentioned anywhere but has anyone seen Graceys racist tweets on Twitter? She tweeted something about a love Island contestant and her racist tweets were discovered. She also tweeted transphobic and islamophobic stuff. Sickening vile stuff.

Do they realise that the bitchy things they say about people in their lives on the podcast are being broadcast out to the nation? Karla slagging Tom's friends wedding and saying guests at her 30th were not her preference and Jen calling kids on her road sly and calling out all these awful weddings she's being to and getting into nitty gritty details on the food and current status of the marriages. Really bitchy and surely going to come back to bite them? Also why is Jen letting her 2 year old play with 6 year olds on the road and expecting the dynamic to be fair?
 
I couldn’t believe it when Jen was going on about Bobby playing out on the road with older kids! And then bitching about the older kids! The child is two, why would you even let him out of your sight? Also Jen and Karla are clearly not that close or see much of each other outside of the recording if Karla hasn’t seen Bobby in two years

I thought this too - when Jen was talking about the wedding with the spit roast? So easily identifiable - imagine if it was your wedding? Id never speak to her again.

Also mental letting a 2 year old play out with 6 year olds
 
Also Jen has said that she’s only ever been to a handful of weddings, so that narrows it down again. But the worst for me was Karla scoffing at the crowd that Tom invited to her 30th. She couldn’t have been any more offensive about them saying they weren’t who she would have invited. What a massive bleep.

Karla hasn't seen Bobby in 2 years.... Bobby is 2. So she literally hasn't seen him since he was a newborn??
Like they mustn't have any real contact outside of the pod at all?!

Also, we have had 2 episodes on Weddings now and they said there is another one on Patreon - talk about overdoing a topic?!

Especially when neither of them are married - i.e. they have no experience of actually organising a wedding
 
It's just crass slagging off someone's wedding on a podcast listened to by thousands. Imagine how tit you'd feel if you're supporting them listening to their podcast and you realise - oh hey, Karla never wanted me at her birthday and I went to all that trouble picking out a gift for her or tit that's my wedding Jen is talking about. We were disappointed in the food as the bride and groom, but it's a bit much calling it out on a podcast - such low a EQ, the pair of them.

I'm not suggesting all kids are mean or a bully, but I'd never leave my toddler playing with 6 years olds. They could get hurt by accident. Even without an intention of malice there's an inequity of power. Toddler's have little to no bodily autonomy or agency to protect themselves. Its not fair to label them sneaky they're just kids navigating power dynamics and don't leave your toddler with them if you find them sly. Of course she doesn't mention if they're playing unsupervised, but she made it sound like her 2 year old is playing on the street 😵

Add “giz a laugh” Enya Martin to that list of people who aren’t funny. Though Jen is the least funny of the three of them.

Jen should have been born decades ago. She has an old school sense of humour that's rooted in ignorance and is unacceptable today. I don't think she's a bad person just wilfully insular. I recall her saying culturally insensitive things on the podcast and laughing away totally oblivious to how offensive they are. Karla too with her mock Indian accents. It wouldn't be a bad idea for them to invest in an editor.

A million percent. I don’t doubt that either of them are inherently bad people just very bad choices in how they portray themselves. They need an editor and maybe even PR training because they are just dreadfully unlikeable

On the last episode Jen jokingly said she was going to hire her sister as PR or something along those lines. Unless she's the total opposite to Jen I can't see what balance would be achieved.

If they had a PR or an editor they could coach Karla to be less abrasive and edit out the stupid things they say - though that would obliterate the entire episode 😂
 
Yep they could do with an editor or a producer on hand, kind of like how Vogue and Joanne have Joe. It would be helpful for when they don’t know something to have a producer interject and fact check, and to save them from themselves when they say the most ridiculous and offensive things. Actually it wouldn’t be a bad idea for them to introduce a third person to the pod to freshen it up. It’s so stale now with just the two of them chatting tit about mundane topics that I feel they have already done to death. Like when I saw that last week’s podcast was on weddings I said to myself I could have sworn that they did that already a few weeks ago, and then again this week ffs
