You mean people made them from fresh pineapple? Where I come from its out of a tin. I am struggling to think what the hedgehog would have been made from.Large potato maybe?

Frenchclick have the apericubes. The chicken is my favourite but they’re in mixed packs of flavours. So you get some you don’t like, or can’t eat - looking at you blue cheese with walnuts ffs

It’s all coming back to me - my aunt used to live next door to us until she kicked the bucket and remembered the hedgehog with the cocktail sticks of cheese. And the obligatory uncle who used to arrive on New Year’s Eve and talked about dying all the time. And quaffing one drink of whisky after another and wondering how did he get back home while being rat assed!!!
