The 'strictly curse' gets thrown around too much now,they just use it for any couple that has a break up when as you said it used to be about partners having an affair a la Ben and Kristina so its kind of lost its meaning.

It’s a bit of a coincidence though isn’t it, ie Louise Redknapp, Stacey Dooley has now broken up with her bloke, Diane Buswell... etc ... but agreed, those relationships probably weren’t in good places if that’s happened. But originally yes it was full blown affairs
 
Anyone see Joe & Dianne are working with Chewton Glen at the Chelsea flower show. Bet Zoe is sick with jealousy, how many times has she gone to the tree houses and has never been asked to anything like that.

Joe & Dianne go once and will probably be paid quite well for doing it.

Wonder if this will cause Zoe to drop them like she has done with countless numbers of 'friends' before who start to do better than her.
 
^i’m pretty sure for most things Zoe is always the first one asked. But she turns everything down these days.

I’m surprised joe and dianne are still going so strong. You can see they’re still deep in the honeymoon phase (eg. Dianne’s story today at the cinema with joe unable to keep himself off her when she was talking to the camera). I kinda see them going the long haul you know. I also don’t think dianne would give up dancing for YouTube. Reckon she’d find it too boring/slow pace. Say what you want about her, but she is a bloody hard worker and seems to thrive off it.
 
Zoe is the architect of her own downfall. So many celebs have crisis points, Zoe’s being the ghost writer scandal, and the advent calendar as the big ones.

Most celebrities move forward from crisis by apologising quickly and quickly doing something else to get the attention on to something positive, or at least away from the crisis point. Zoe just goes dark and it allows the topic to fester and keep the focus. Thus heightens the sense of negativity around her. She needed to do stuff to PR her way out of crisis, she never does.

Her (and Alfie) turning down so much stuff will eventually see brands stop asking them to things an offering them new stuff. Joe takes these opportunities like the films or Strictly and it keeps the ball rolling so to speak. And extends longevity.

I wonder how long it'll be before they take down the waxwork models of Alfie and Zoe in Tussauds and replace them with Joe and Dianne😂😂😂😂

The thing is I don't even think having a ghost writer was the problem its the fact she lied and tried to pass someone else's work off as her own.If she'd just been honest from the get go and blabbed some tit about how shes not a professional writer and she wants the book to be the best it can be so she's working with person x etc.

I've never picked up on that before until you said it but it's so true,that's such bad PR.Usually when a celeb fucks up there's a deeply worded apology and then the next week they're out visiting a children's hospital or a dog shelter or something along those lines.But like you said she just disappears for months after and tried to get the sympathy vote.

I think brands have probably already stopped bothering to ask them,a few years ago they would have cut their arm off to have zoella on board but now they probably run in the opposite direction.Her main channels dead and she barley uploads vlogs these days so it wont be too long before her yt career is a thing of the past.
 
It's actually astounding that Joe was with gleam up until last year and yet kept a clean image. You would think that since she is gleams biggest client they would have been all over her scandals.

But you can also see that Joe is protecting Dianne from scandal because she posts so much less than she used to unless it's reposts from fans, so Joe is probably sensoring her social media.

To be honest is probably unofficially managing her. As before 2/3 weeks ago, she never did brand posts, now she does one a day. I don't think her management have suddenly got her new deals since they are a specialist dance Agency, so just a guess, but would seem Joe is managing her career outside of dance.

She's done brand deals in the past,most of the strictly crew do.I'm sure Joe gives her advise but he doesn't manage her.
 
I wouldn’t say he manages her but I’m sure he gives he a ton of advice and he’s the social media king in her eyes so I’m sure she takes all of it, just like he does when she tells him how to dance.

As much as they’re a little too PDA for me, I kind of want them to do a bf/gf tag because I really interested to see the things they have in common/talk about when they aren’t on camera. Everything always relates back to dance or way over used “inside jokes” they share with their fans. Maybe even a “who knows me better” with Dianne and Zoe.
 
I didn't mean manage per say, but he clearly has a lot of say in her decisions. Which is helping her make some money now and he is helping protect her public image, but if they break up, she has an awful lot to lose.

His fans will turn on her in a second, which means her yt channel will lose a lot of subscribers, once the public turn on her strictly won't keep her on, katya got kept on cause her husband stood by her, Karen stayed cause her and Kevin stayed friends. But the backlash Dianne will receive will be far worse. Joe's not malicious but he won't be able to control the backlash.

It just makes me feel that it will put a lot of pressure on Dianne to stay with Joe and agree with what he says cause she may not be book smart, but she has street smarts and will be able to guess what will happen if they break up.

I just think they shouldn't have made their relationship so public so soon, cause although she's making a bit now, she has everything to lose when the relationship goes south.

You think if her and Joe split up and his fans dislike her that Strictly will sack her? 😂 Katya was MARRIED and kissed her dance partner.

If Joe and Dianne have a mutual breakup Strictly won’t bin her. Plus, a lot of her fans will be her fans now, Joe said he’s attracted a much wider audience now and that will be down partly to Diane and Strictly. She’s a great dancer, hard worker and likeable, so unless she brings some scandal she won’t get sacked imo

Yes his influence has helped her get followers on Youtube etc but this relationship isn’t 100% Joe. I think Diane is likeable on her own. She’s not like Mark Ferris/ Zoella etc
