but he isn't wrong and he isn't even saying he's not still chummy with the man but everyone's still pissed.

If they don't axe him Trump and his team can just play clips of all these gaffes on repeat and coast to a landslide victory. At least if they change candidate now they might lose but it will shore up some floating voters who are saying they can't vote for a man in Biden's condition.
