This is the hill I’ll die on. Joanne is a mother but she is not an expert on baby development and shouldn’t be giving this “advice” or “inspiration” or whatever she calls it about tummy time.
anything besides your baby on a flat surface on their tummy is NOT tummy time. Skin to skin is wonderful- but doesn’t count. Aeroplane doesn’t count. Laying on a soft bed is too mushy and doesn’t count.
tummy time forces use of abdominal muscles in order for them to be strengthened because when babies are being held they don’t use their abs. And when they’re on their backs their paraspinal muscles are activated. Therefore they can be relatively “uneven” and have stronger backs than tummies if they don’t do enough tummy time. They generally all dislike it because it’s like doing a plank for us - same level of effort which is hard! That’s why we recommend multiple small lengths of time throughout the day. Then they can tolerate more when they’re stronger in the abs.

I see parents come in all the time who don’t want to upset their baby with tummy time, and then the child is slower to roll over etc when we see them a few months. You need abs for that, eventually to sit, and then eventually to walk.
Sorry for the rant. Back to regular programming.
Out of curiosity, what is ur profession/area of expertise? No disrespect, just I was told by numerous professionals to use different techniques similar to what Joanne is saying. Obviously on a flat hard surface is the gold standard

The editing of her face/neck/nose/hands and hair is unfathomable. What is she thinking? She looks like a joke account. The hairstyle she’s done to herself here is really not going to sell anything. I’d say she hasn’t a clue how to use that tool. I’ve friends who have it and they actually get “mermaid” waves she’s going on about.

Her hairline is clearly edited in both pics. I wonder is the postpartum hair loss starting. I do feel for her because she has thin hair as is, but advertising a hair product with photoshopped hair is a con.

Also mermaid hair needs to die a death.

Lads the absolute state of that pink hair thing she's shilling. Looks like something my 10 year old niece would get alongside a unicorn cushion for her bday. Reminds me of when we all went around with crimped hair 🤣 And her finished hair is not exactly an advertisement for it working well?

Maybe it doesn't work as well on 'Mom' hair as it does on tweenagers 🙄

Um, most curling tongs operate like that - “section, clamp, release” what a first class egit!!! Everything she tries out it’s as if she’s to first to know how it works. Those posing videos too, with the smirking, pathetic! 🥴🤢

I cannot cope.

Can someone who lives in cork get some paparazzi style pics as the women in these photos is a size 12.

I don’t care about what size anyone is to be clear, it’s just the pure deceit and level of self consciousness that astounds me here.
