So true about Myrtle. The card was already chewed, she obviously saw it, thought "hmm... content" so decided to get her camera out and put the card in front of Myrtle to shame her, the poor little darling.

She is also so patronising about "her" cleaner, I hate when people point out their cleaner's nationality when it's not relevant to the discussion, "...she's learning English...".

Forgot to mention that listening back to Wednesday night's show GOB read out an email - apparently sent in by a listener  - about her appearance with Sheerluxe. The company was named in the 'listener's' email and GOB went on to mention it again, and mentioned her interview with Kelly Rutherford.

I really can't think of another BBC presenter who would brazenly mention companies they do other paid work for.

Even if a genuine listener emailed in about it, the company name should have been redacted.
She doesn’t give a fig does she. I think she really wants to be fired!
Is it too early to think of new thread titles? I don't think so, it will give us time to get suggestions in and count votes. I think the theme of her dodgy driving is important to flag, and it will likely be an ongoing issue, same for her still whinging about her work making her tired, but no thought to curb her socialising and freebie grabbing.

Jo Good #11 Driving while filming, I'm a Park Lane pest. The BBC is hard work, but I won’t stay home to rest.

Or maybe something about her being lukewarm about poor Myrtle, lazy training etc. Anything else?
Hair touching and flared nostrils! 😫🤦🏼‍♀️

From your descriptions @reggiesmum and @House of Tea, and this classic Jo Good poor-me face, this week's flog looks hard goin'.

it was. I’d skip it if I was you. She gets more boring and up her self every week.

We are only 20 posts or so away from needing a new thread. We had title suggestions from @House of Tea
Taxi for GOB, with dull Dave at the wheel, designer labels aplenty, she’s keeping it real.
She wants out of the Beeb, wants luxe all the way, but her options are limited so at the Beeb she must stay.

@Exmouthlady has suggested the new title might refer to hair touching and flared nostrils.

I have prepared a TLDR (itself quite long!) so am ready to set up thread #11 when we've decided on the title.

At this stage my vote goes to HOT's second suggestion.

Towards the end of yesterday's radio show GOB said all the BBC Radio London presenters had their photos taken about six months ago but hers hasn't been released. At the time, management sent the photo to her saying how fantastic she looked - GOB said yes I do - but said she hasn't seen it since She asked a producer about the photos, they said Eddie Nestor and Lionheart's have been released.

Take the hint GOB.

No chance of that. Tries hard to act the renegade, rule breaking, old hippy rock chick but she's actually an institutionalised wage slave.
If they do want her out they should actually tell her and stop the uncertainty. That way she could follow full time what she says is her passion. However, as mentioned before, she needs the BBC lanyard for access to a lot of stuff. She is getting more invites to influencer stuff in her own right, but she is too low key subs wise to rely on that at the moment.

She gets a few fee paying side hustle gigs but the rest is freebies and invites, which are great narc feed but they don't pay the bills. Nor is her YT channel popular enough to be earning heaps via the ads they insert. So she still needs the BBC but is resentful rather than appreciative.

Plus her hidden income. Her BBC salary won’t be that much, she has other income streams (property). She has to have an extra wedge coming in, to afford £600 shoes and £1,500 dresses on a regular basis.

She is so proud and boastful of her lack of consideration for her neighbours. Last night's show opens with her talking about her roof "where my dog pees".

Interviews the producer of Oliver Stone's new movie. It's called "Nuclear" so says it might be a bit heavy but she wanted to do it as she such a huge fan of Oliver Stone  In GOB world this means she knows he's quite a big name as she's heard of one or two of his films. She opens not about the topic but about the process of making a movie, asking what a producer does and other "in" questions, presuambly as she's done no research. The only hook she can find about the topic is to repeat several times that it is timely because we are facing blackouts. She then asks if nuclear energy comes from the sun. 🥴 When told it comes from uranium she asks if it's easy to get.

ETA. The interviewee has to be trolling her. In closing she said she doesn't know when the film is on and he replies that they are currently doing a deal with a prestigous platform and they will be having a screening in December for "selected scholars and intellectual audiences and you are going to be kindly invited..."   The movie producer (Fernando Silichin) then said he would arrange for Oliver Stone to go on GOB's show when he's over on November 10 (which is her night off for the Marylebone lights)

On last night's Chewing the Fat the subject of influencers came up, GOB said she hates the term, one of the contributors, a fashion guy whose name I forget, said when he started out blogging 12 years ago, River Island paid him £200 to do a review; he contrasted this with the large amounts influencers now command, droppping in that he knows MAM does sponsored ads, saying "hashtag AD". GOB didn't elaborate.

And (sorry to quote my own post) but this "selected scholars and intellectual audiences...", as applied to GOB, is still cracking me up!

We all know it. Love to know how much Cherryz paid her. Those halcyon days when she wore a Turkey hat. Perhaps they paid her in Paxo. In any case she has moved onto better things, I doubt she will be advertising their poundshop offerings any more. Although judging by her slovenly bedroom last week she is more Cherryz than Sheerluxe.

She is so arrogant she thinks her that'll do approach will work across the board. She doesn't care that she has to make an effort to appear somewhat on-brand to maintain relationships with higher-end companies. I can't imagine Sheerluxe wanting to do an "At-Home with Jo Good" for their followers after seeing her strewn flat and hearing about her disgusting pet toileting routine.

Her flat is depressing. It’s all about the location for her but it is just a small box, with a carved up kitchen and a municipal bathroom. Even the famous roof terrace is depressing, even with the new roses. It feels like the kind of flat Kenneth Williams died in, a poky mansion flat just off Baker Street. It has that same sad vibe.

I couldn't agree more.

For such a social butterfly who lives for style and glamour, her home reflects nothing of the image she tries so hard to portray.

We are almost at 1,000 posts. As we've not had too many suggestions or votes on a new thread title, may I propose to start #11 tomorrow using @House of Tea 's title? Or does anyone think we should wait a bit longer for further responses?

It was my suggestion but a bit clunky, how about a tweak -

Wants out of the Beeb, craves luxe all the way, her options are limited, at the Beeb she must stay.
