I didn’t know he was her first boyfriend and that she’s younger. That does change my mind a bit.
But I still maintain that getting engaged on the birthday of an ex in-law is absolutely no big deal.

Yes, I agree. A destination wedding has got to be the choice when you’ve already done the big traditional English Wedding just a few years ago.
Can’t believe Jim’s thread is actually moving, it feels like years since I’ve been here. 
Why get engaged now though, they can’t even have a proper big engagement party because of Covid and I wouldn’t be getting married until 2022 if I was them, they can’t even have a big wedding until Covid has fucked off. I just think what’s the rush, just live together and get to know each other for a few years. Jim must be so desperate to start a family and Sarah too by the looks of things. Oh well I hope for Sarah’s sake that it doesn’t go tits up, as for Tanya I couldn’t give a duck, just like she doesn’t give a duck about her followers.

Nope. You have to be separated for 2 years to enforce a divorce even if the other person refuses. I got my divorce through 9 months after I split from my ex husband

Suprised Zoe hasn’t Commented on the Engagement but I guess she Hasn’t Seem Jim at All since The divorce with Tan so it’s not that surprising to be Honest.

Can I ask how out of interest? From what I've read the only way to do quicker that 2 years after separation is to file adultery or unreasonable behaviour.
Maybe Jim filed for adultery with her and Rhys and that’s how he got a quickie divorce, I can’t see him getting engaged unless his divorce has come through and they haven’t been separated for 2 years yet. Maybe that’s why Jim doesn’t give a duck about showing his relationship on SM so quick.

I imagined that there may also be disputes over assets. Tanya was the breadwinner, Jim did virtually nothing to support himself, who bought the house, as they were married whilst she earnt what jim could ask for. I hope she got a good lawyer, and wasn't arm twisted into giving him anything of her money. Yes, her products were awful, but they did well enough financially and Jim is an able bodied man with a degree, he should be able to support himself.
It is the, blink and you'll miss it, time it took for him to go from one woman to the next. What it says about him isn't good, sarah is foolish if she's marrying him for love as i don't think he knows himself what it is. If shes marrying for her career then good luck to her, Jim seems like a horrendous know it all bore who would only do

His dad was quite abusive and controlling wasn't he? Not surprised in the least. It was behavior learned as a child that never quite left him.
She was, over on the Tanya thread someone pulled up pics of Nics garden and table and it’s the same
Sarah clearly banked that comment and was desperate to prove them wrong when they got engaged. And also, Jim that comment underneath “2nd woman he’s ever dated at 32 and they’re engaged 18 months after his divorce” does not sound good like he wants it tooI know there’s more stuff going on right now but I’m just wondering who took their engagement photos as they were very close up and definitely not 2m away (doesn’t look like zoom was used either). But hey I guess coronavirus doesn’t exist when you’re engaged and gotta show it off to everyone
I’m gonna be honest here. When I was younger I was in a relationship where we would post each other constantly on social media, and to be completely honest, I did it to feel validation. From everyone who sees it, myself, and my partner. That being said, it was an extremely unhappy relationship. I’ve also been in a relationship where at my happiest, I didn’t feel the need to do any of that.
Could just be me of course, but ever since the start of their relationship where they were showing each other off every single day in such a pretentious way, it was just very clear the reasoning behind it. (Wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of it was to make Tanya jealous as well, especially Sarah’s posts)
Of course Jim is an “influencer” and he decides to show his life online but he was never like this to this extent with Tanya, nor does he really show anything else properly in his life.
Lol just had a little stalk and found this under their first couple photo. Sarah admitted 5 weeks ago to looking back at comments and calling it “utter crap”
Obviously she told Jim about it because he comes swooping in with his opinion too

Personally I don’t think it’s anyone’s business what the ins and outs of the divorce were. I really don’t think Tanya was innocent in all of this either - I think it was her desire to chase Hollywood that was the nail in the coffin for the pair, you can tell in her YT videos from that time that her heart wasn’t anything other than herself. As a 30 year old man I reckon Jim was holding out for kids and Tanya had other ideas.
