I don’t mind the name Jesse but it’s quite popular at the minute, I know of 3 born this year, I kind of expected something a bit more old fashioned/classic along the same lines as Margot.

Margot was also popular around the time of her birth, I knew of multiple born that year (and since)

The easiest would just be Jess, which isn't much of an abbreviation, I guess but it is shorter

When I hear the name "Jesse" especially for a boy, all I remember is hearing "Stop being a Jesse" from some American movie or TV programme, said in a very disparaging tone.

I think of that old song Jessie's Girl. Different spelling but it's now been in my head since find out Jim's new employee son's name.

Yes because he’s also blonde (ish), it’s that thing of insisting Margot takes after him and not Sarah all over again. If I was Sarah, I’d question why I’d been putting up with the challenges of pregnancy and childbirth to have babies with someone who publicly makes clear they resent my DNA being involved!

Hope he expresses actually better when Margot is around.
I've a horrible feeling he will be the sort of father to 'jokingly' say to one or other child 'yes you're my favourite' not grasping that words run deep with small children.

Why does he keep posting "I like him"? It's actually really weird. Every other new parent posting that they love their new baby already and all Jim can say is that he likes his new baby and he's blonde.
