In a two story McMansion with a finished walk-out basement. I’ve never seen anyone be so melodramatic about a god damn bathroom reno. I still don’t understand what is taking so long. Most crews do the banging and crashing of demo in the first day or two and then it’s just normal noise levels until they start installing tubs and vanities and that sort of thing. I still think there’s been some sort of water damage or mold when they pulled everything up. That’s the only explanation for it taking so long.
 
I don't know if it's different in the USA, but I've never heard of a bathroom renovation taking so long in the UK. Most are done in about a week.

Unless like you say they have found something, or she is having construction work done too on the building.

You can just hear her at the spa going on about how awful and stressful the construction is and the staff probably rolling their eyes inside. She really is a massive stereotype, and she gives herself away with posts like this.
 
Some companies now will get it done in a single day with those tub/shower overlays or even taking it all out. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a one day all in renovation since you know there's going to be an issue or it'll won't last. Maybe not, but just seems iffy.
Normal work I'd say is about the same. We had a bath re-done some years back. We worked with a designer and they actually had a cabinet made for the space. It wasn't cheap, but we still love it and it'll last as long as we want it to. The tile guy was great too.
 
She loves to make a fuss out of nothing. The way she has made this Hurricane Helene all about herself has annoyed me so much. I just got her newsletter emailed to me (don't even remember signing up) and she talks about how exhausted she is after the storm.

Jen. Have a serious word with yourself. People have lost their entire homes and livelihoods. A dear friend of mine lost her car and entire ground floor of her home in Florida. Meanwhile Jen is using it for content. It just feels so wrong.

It’s up there with the level of grotesque that is the dementia content.

How is she exhausted?! We know damn well she doesn’t do the yard work nor is she fixing the fence so she hasn’t been outside cleaning up debris or chopping branches.

Jesus, reminds me of the asshat vloggers who stayed at WDW and took the prepared meals from families that were stuck there during Hurricane Ian, I think it was.
 
Lmao her most recent story is talking about another bag that we haven't seen before (not sure if she just bough it, but another gift "from Scott, but from our joint account" and it's not the coach over the shoulder bag that she has been posting about the last few weeks.

But she "doesn't talk about bags much anymore since she's not a bag channel and because people think it's weird..."

Like I said, I want to see videos of what she donated since she says "one thing in, two things out" when it comes to bags in more than one video to my recollection...
 
She’s such a contradiction… besides the bathroom reno they’re putting down hardwood in their “music room”. I’m sorry there’s nothing that says we have money like having a music room. Most people just have a piano for their kids in the living room or if someone plays the drums they get relegated to the basement. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a piano in any of her photos or videos nor has she discussed playing. Make it make sense?!

Anyway they’re picking a colour for the hardwood but it won’t be an exact match for the rest of the hardwood but it’s OK because there’s French doors to close off the music room. Then she literally says “once we financially recover from the bathroom reno and the hardwood floors, we’ll have the rest of the hardwood redone to match.” 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

But then talks about her Gucci budget and how she bought another Coach purse instead. WTF?! If you have a budget for a Gucci handbag, which new bags from the boutique start at over $3000 USD, then you have money to refinish all your hardwood floors at the same time so they will match properly.

Her consumerism is off the charts no matter how much she professes to purge or clean out or whatever.

But glad she reads here since she went off on all the hurricane relief posts and how to help people.

Oh and it sounds like she’s got another Disney cruise booked. Spare me with the financial recovery after your piss carpet reno.

She needs to pick a lane. But pleading poverty while also owning a Porsche, doing a full bathroom reno, installing new hardwood floor, buying multiple $500+ handbags, and going on expensive vacations isn’t the flex she thinks it is. Just makes her more of a smug narc.
