I never said it did. It was literally two separate points that you've read into. Also breastfeeding doesn't automatically make you a responsible parent.
That’s fair but if the NHS advice has been to wean at 6 months/when they can sit unaided for over 15 years then it’s not like the rules are changing all the time and she can’t keep upI have 3 kids aged 26, 25 and 16. The older two were weaned at 3 months as that was the way we were told to do it back then. By the time my youngest was born a whole load of ‘rules’ had changed, including weaning. My son therefore didn’t get weaned until almost 6 months. Happy to report they are all thriving, healthy and well.
Yeah I know I’m too old to be watching MIC .. but #guiltypleasure
PS Not Maevas biggest fan at all, but weaning guidelines do seem to go through changes over the years
You're not too old at all , I was reading these comments and thought exactly the same. I also have 3 children aged 25, 24 and 17 and I was also told to wean my 2 eldest at 3/4 months , I can always remember the health visitor telling me to start off with baby rice ! Lol, my 17 year old didn't get weaned until 6 months as like you said - rules had changed , mine also had no problems with this and are all well.I have 3 kids aged 26, 25 and 16. It will have expired it was yesterday afternoonHas she deleted her moaning video??
I googled it and it does say in France guidelines are 4 monthsI think privately weaning early is one thing ( although it seems strange to do something which might potentially damage your baby) but as an influencer to publicise something which goes again long standing NHS guidelines is hugely irresponsible. It also seems unlikely to me that the French guidelines are 4 months. It’s been 6 months in the UK for a long time and for good reason.
