Omg if I hear one more influencer use the term "I'm in my <insert item of clothing> era" - I think I will scream! They are all carbon copies of each other saying the same thing and selling the same crap!
Satin skirts made her nervous?!? But now she’s figured out how to style them she’s ok…. She’s wearing it in the exact same way everyone has been wearing them for the last couple of years. I despair!

I’ve never heard so much tripe in all my life - being ‘nervous’ about a skirt? I have the answer for Carys - don’t wear one then! 🙄
Has she considered that maybe the "anxiety" she feels when wearing something new/different isn't actually anxiety.. but perhaps that she literally just doesn't like whatever it is? Like.. does she know she doesn't HAVE to wear these things just because they're a trend right now. If something makes you feel uncomfortable or out of sorts to wear, or you feel a bit daft in it, you don't have to force yourself to wear it 🤦‍♀️😅 it's okay to not like things

She's trying to get as much money as possible by wearing every item of clothing - so she gets the clicks and the coin. Instead, she could find a style that suits her .....and then compare the same pieces from different brands. She's acting maniacally trying everything.....It screams desperation....

This!! I would have more respect for these influencers if they really owned their personal style. Like, the current beige and brown tones on trend really don't suit my colouring, I look like an ill medieval peasant and that's ok, not everything suits everyone. I wish she'd show that kind of mindset but nooo, money must be made

So this graced my FB earlier, some of the comments were brutal. I don’t know why she genuinely thought this was a good idea.

YES THIS! But I also feel she needs to accept that some trends just aren’t flattering on your body shape. I’m petite so this move away from skinny jeans to wearing looser trousers looks utterly ridiculous on me, I literally look like a clown in trousers. So I don’t wear loose trousers. Carys has a mum tum, so satin skirts are not going to be for her shape. They cling in all the wrong places. She bangs on and on about honouring her body but she’s doesn’t practice what she preaches, as you say she follows trends that she knows aren’t flattering for her but does so because they are on trend. That’s not honouring your body at all.

Aww I love this influencer she’s a beautiful person
I’ve no idea who it is and I’m sure she is, but why not do an ad with a swimsuit that actually fits her and is flattering? She’s plus size with a large bust, a swimsuit with proper bust support would look amazing on her. Again, it’s a person who is not dressing for her shape. That’s not body positivity. Essentially you are merely forcing your plus size body to fit standard beauty ideals. Body positivity is recognising that your body isn’t best suited to a bikini but you can bleeping rock a swim suit that flatters your shape.

It’s Cary’s best friends Nyla, they do reels together wearing the same clothes that cling to them both, linking the same expensive crap between them both. I don’t believe for a second either of them are happy with their size.

Exactly! I always think people look cool in denim dungarees but I feel like a 9 year old as soon as I put them on. So I obviously just don't like them on me lol I'm not gonna go about forcing myself to wear them while feeling like a head until I magically like them one day 🤦‍♀️ that's just some weird self conditioning that I don't feel necessary lol
