Didn’t someone post on here ages ago they knew friends of his and she was super controlling and accusing him of cheating whenever he went on tour? Maybe in the first thread somewhere

I still find it bizarre she has producing credits on one of his albums on 9 of the 12 tracks. Then came out and made him defend her on it saying she studied music at school.

On her latest podcast I Weigh with Joanne McNally she told a story of how she tit herself on the street in downtown LA. She went on to say how she ‘waited til it got dark, stripped off to everything but her bra, almost fully naked, keys in teeth, and ran 7 blocks home to her apartment where she ran through the lobby and up 17 flights of stairs to her flat”

eh…. SURE, Jan!

I just couldn’t believe the absurdity of her lie! Her guest was laughing in disbelief. I don’t understand why she tells ridiculous lies. It was incredibly unbelievable on so many levels, not least the practical level of being caught on camera or ARRESTED 😂

I have mixed feelings about her but I just can’t with the lies
 
I’m not sure if this has been spotted before but I was just listening to the Andrea Dunlop episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard. Andrea has an amazing podcast herself called Nobody Should Believe Me about her experiences with Munchausen by Proxy so they were obviously discussing the topic. At the 19:29 mark Dax says:

“I’m delighted to have had the personal experience, not directly but my wife worked with somebody who clearly has Munchausens so I can relate to the very bizarre position you’re in. It feels unapproachable because you’re recognising the person is already caught in a huge yarn of reality they’re spinning and you get the sense that to poke at it would be to collapse this person. It’s much weirder than I would have predicted. Now mind you I remember saying to my wife “why don’t you tell her, I know what the duck’s going on”, I feel like I would say something but I saw how awkward it was for her and everyone around it, like everyone’s aware of it but no one’s saying a thing and the best defence you think you have is to ignore it and not give the attention it seems to be craving.”

Surely it’s Jameela & this is about the set of the Good Place. It must be a real open secret in Hollywood.

Yes this undoubtedly must be about her? It must be such a known thing, but it is still quite surprising to see people openly talking about it somehow!

She must be always going on about her imaginary ailments on set and that as well, then? People must be sick to death of her!

I know acting is hardly the coal face but you do have to have a bit of toughness for doing stunts, filming in rain/wind machines/water tanks etc., working long hours, doing the same takes over and over.

No wonder she basically just plays herself in middling streaming stuff. She'd never manage a blockbuster or adventure film type thing. Can you imagine all of her made up injuries???

It must be about her! Strange that everyone in the industry is probably super aware of her munchausens, but the general public, on the whole, are completely unaware, and just believe her to be in constant poor health!
 
I have extensive personal experience of people with (what I believe to be) Munchausen's, and compulsive liars in general, and what I notice is that nobody is willing to call them out publicly, because they risk the wrath of the Twitterati disability rights activists types etc trying to get them cancelled/calling their employers etc if they're not celebs. But in private, everyone and I mean every single person they have spent any significant amount of time around, both knows they're bullshitting and very openly talks about it when they're not around. Friends, acquaintances, colleagues, they'll all be discussing it.

She told quite a few whoppers on that episode. For anyone in the UK not familiar with JMcN, Joanne has made quite a successful stand up career which started with her story of her horrendous bulimia and subsequent recovery - her tale is genuine and told with heart and is dark but funny.

Jameela was obviously threatened trying to compete.Hence the ludicrous story of shitting herself in public - you forgot the details about how she tried to clean herself with a lettuce leaf first 🙄 and she never clarified why she had to wait until dark or also take her top off 🙄 (,other than it was all a lie).

jameela also said her school encouraged their eating disorders, with one pupil who used to stand on a physical weighing scales , looking at her weight *while* eating and apparently the teachers didn't care 🙄
Or how Jameela uses her hatred for the patriarchy to stay in recovery (Joanne uses actual therapy because her ED is actually real).

I assume Joanne only did the interview for exposure to a new audience. She's highly intelligent and you could hear the disbelief in her voice at points, it was painful.

Given her ability to sell out the Ghosted tour, her stand up tours and the listening figures for her pods I'd say a lot of women disagree with you there. Myself included.

Even if you don't like her humour, she's razor sharp intelligent and clearly saw through Jameelas bullshit on that interview.

Jameelas is a compulsive liar, narcissist , hypochondriac. There no comparison to "I don't really get Joannes jokes about having bulimia and growing up in Killiney"
