My Mam's was "if you want a different dinner you can buy the food and cook it yourself." This was after the "well you'll have to stay hungry so" and the "CHILDREN STARVING IN AFRICA!"

Looks like the packs of ready diced vegetables you get in Asda ....just saying.

I thought they were the pre chopped veg, it's too regular at for butternut squash as it's a nightmare to cut

If she is freezing all these meals, when do they eat them? She makes fresh slop every day.

No wonder she has 3 freezers. When one freezer fills up with individual portions, she just buys another and the meals lie inside festering for months on end.

I've never heard her say "for dinner I defrosted x, y or z." I'd say it ends up getting dumped.

I think she cooks mammoth amounts, and either throws them away or they reside in the icy fingers of one of her many freezers along with the liver until she throws them away some time in the future

Sorry Cabal, am late to the party however I am not worried about Jack nor do I believe in this relapse or the so called fact she is an alcoholic. I think it is probably true that she has overindulged and maybe can't handle her drink but no way was it 200 units per week. She is cold and calculating when it comes to creating sob stories where she is always the victim and the severest sufferer ever. She is also a proven liar and manipulator. One day Jack will be the boy who cried wolf. It's her son I feel sorry for, the innocent child she never really wanted
