Not a warning, but to all: best not to discuss who you have on ignore or have speculations about. It only makes others worried they’ve missed something. Report any concerns, thanks
Nodding along in agreement about the suspicious new users. Ive ignored and reported one (about to ignore/report another) for the same things (incessant misery-me postings). It just feels a bit unusual and I can’t put my finger on it.

anyway I’m leaving it here because it isn’t fair to speculate and detail the whole thread with speculations.
Yep. Two on ignore, and the Great Scrollarooni Manoeuvre applied for a few others. We are nice, not dim.

duck the Guardian.

they applauded that unspeakable dickweed Owen Jones bullying Suzanne Moore and Hadley Freeman off the paper.

Katherine Viner pays herself over half a million pounds, pays her tit husband to write terrible columns, and begs readers for money.

They pay awful, awful 'journalists' like Rhiannon Lucy Laura Zoe Ellie Mae Coslett o'hagan Snape Williams to write meaningless shite.

Thanks to Seumas Milne, they drove forward and built up the most sustained and intense antisemitic political campaign I've ever experienced.

duck duck duck the Guardian. bleeping cunts.
👏👏 the way they act as an officer class telling the actual working class what we should be concerned about while you know their journos wouldn't give up 1 iota of their own privilege to make room for our kids.

We have mithered at length at the lack of calories/ any nutrients in the slop. I note that Nigella’s recipe of the day today includes 150g of pasta for one person. That’s more like a greedy goblin portion .
This is a confusion I see regularly with pasta (sometimes lentils etc) - a recipe needs to be clear on whether they mean dry from the packet, as in making a macaroni cheese, or cooked weight as in making a salad.
150g dry is 2 decent main meal portions
150g cooked is about 67g dry, so 1 slightly smaller (short girl) portion.

I see a couple posts deleted from late last night and I missed the excitement :(
Nigella isn’t confused (and nor am I) - she specifies 150g dry pasta for one person.

I miss Jenny Numbers. I really really hope she's doing okay ❤

I find it weird as well. I'm heavily tattooed, started off with ankles, shoulders, stomach... that kind of thing. It took me a long time to start getting my sleeves done as it's such a visible area I wanted to be %100 sure, also finding an artist I was comfortable with was paramount.

I think most people put a lot of thought into placement as well don't they? Some of mine are cover ups of scars, some are in a specific place just because they "fit" better aesthetically. I have my late cat's pawprint on my thigh, because he always used to sit next to me and would put his paw on my leg when he wanted attention. 😭.

And the people that I know who have sleeves are, as others have said, tattooed in other places, or the sleeves have a specific theme that is meaningful to them, or are at least coherent. Hers are just random and terrible.

She strikes me as very impulsive with them, a lot look like she’s had the idea pop into her head and has gone to the first tattoo artist who could fit her in that day which explains both the randomness and the shittiness completely. Like the people who get holiday tattoos in benidorm except on her arms not her Mediterranean arse.

I was wondering which she meant. For around five people I just throw in the whole 500g bag and have a bit leftover though 🤣

Ah well that clears up my query then!

In fairness she does address the size of the portion up front and in the serves 1 greedy person 😂

That’s a really good observation. I know people with amazing tattoos, and they’re amazing because they’ve given it so much thought, planned it all
out, waited for appointments with really good (expensive) artists and added to them over time. Hers are more like she thought she was a magnadoodle (probs showing my age!) only there is no erase!

She doesn’t specify dry though, and I expected she would be more attentive to detail! I like that she doesn’t expect it to feed 6 burly men though on a mouse size portion like (ahemjackahem) some people!

Did a double, triple take then.

Then realised I was thinking of Morgan Freeman, not Bilbo Baggins :ROFLMAO:
I’m gonna have to look up Martin Freeman as no clue but I would listen to Morgan Freeman all day long!
