People can’t seriously believe Jack when she says she’s taking a break from social media?!

Guys, she’s a well known compulsive liar. Why would anyone expect this one to not be her lying?

I find it funny (not haha-coughing-up-a-lung funny) that when you go through her IG from the last months, so many tings make her "feel good for the first time in a very long time". Almost every other day.

Oh dear... I've just realised she'll have deleted it as an app from her phones, but that won't stop her looking from her laptop. Jack, seriously, if you're reading this, just have a total break from SM.
I don’t get the point in deleting the apps when even forgetting the fact she has a computer (or three), she can access Twitter and Instagram through her phone’s browser?

There’s literally no point unless she’s also blocking the websites, which she clearly isn’t

I’m sure at one point Jack said she refers to Louisa as Mrs J because that’s what Louisa asked to be called. But why would you want to be called the same thing as Jacks ex? I wonder if Jack was [insert mock shocked gif] lying?!
Yes!! This popped into my mind as soon as I read Mrs Jack. She can’t keep up with her lies and I can’t imagine for a minute that Allegra would have wanted to be referred to as that either.

Thank you @Fenella for making me feel better.

Zero sympathy for landlords here ✌

Fine, but Labour lost over 2 million votes at the last election due to this kind of alienating extremism.

I mean of judging and hating everyone who partakes in things you don’t agree with.

I don’t even agree with being a landlord but understand how nice people end up doing it. And this behaviour just makes my opinion of modern leftists sink even lower. It makes me think people who share your beliefs don’t have any realistic or sensible solutions except ostracising people you don’t like.

Just so you know many people who rent would one day like to be the landlord, so don’t assume this judgement is relatable to every tenant.

She needs to go to one of those idyllic anti-social media retreats where they confiscate all technology off you and put you through workshops, therapy, sightseeing, etc.

It would probably be eye-wateringly expensive, but then that trip to Edinburgh hardly looked cheap, did it. I think it would be a worthwhile investment TBH.

Also I appreciate people call their significant others by their usernames on here, but this is an anonymous forum. Louisa is a public figure. I think it's very reductive to minimise someone to your initial... Especially as she has past form it highlights what a narcissist she is!

No politics talk at the dinner table, fraus 🤣 Jack, wherefore art thou, Jack?

I’m joshing - and off to make this because I seen it before and have been craving it ever since. I don’t have thick sausages but have a packet of Vegetarian Butcher’s “little willies” 🙊

She can't. She's addicted. She just switches from one account to another, or to an anonymous account!

it intimates that Jack and Allegra broke up because Jack had a breakdown.
The "breakdown" episodes were at the time of break-up. There was an argument with a security guard in a supermarket - he was "looking at her" apparently. Then one Sunday afternoon she found herself in a Tube station toilet crying and shaking. Of course, she documented this in real time on social media.....

Is it still not really weird? I can’t imagine calling my husband Mr Clemmie 😉 plus they weren’t even married.

It is defs weird but I wonder if it’s a way of smoothing over the fact there’s been a few different women in that role? Not shaming as relationships are hard, just I noticed a friend started just calling partners her “other half” in conversations after a chain of quite intense, short lived, relationships that exploded catastrophically. I figure it’s easier to be vague than having to explain what happened with James/John/Pete next time you speak to that person?

Well, I'm a pro-independence Scottish Greens voting* (accidental) landlord and if that makes me trash in some people's eyes so be it 🙅‍♀️ .

*in the elections I am allowed to vote in

You’re not trash ❤️
People need to relearn how to accept different politics. Democracy means people are allowed to hold differing beliefs.

Anyone who has ever inherited, or stands to inherit, an elderly relative’s home is at risk of becoming a dreaded landlord. They’re not all sneering multimillionaire Hollywood-style evil villains!

My parents are working class and they both fantasise about being landlords. They are nice people and were loyal Labour voters until a decade ago. Like most people, they've never learnt about economics and wouldn’t understand what anyone is shouting about. Attacking landlords as evil would feel like attacking them personally, and saying you shouldn’t have your dreams (albeit unattainable).

It is frustrating to see the Left self-sabotage like this. I agree with much of what they say! They are supposed to stand for the average Joe, not put him off.

From what I can remember, Jack had a breakdown and ended up in the priory which eventually led to their break up?

Which tube stations have toilets?! Moreover who would want to spend any amount of time in one recreationally crying, I’d sooner do it on the platform at least you won’t catch anything 🤮

Maybe the politics stuff could be in a politics thread

Can we try to stick to how this relates to Jack it’s Sunday evening I’m getting a bit lost 🤯
