Didn't mean to come across harsh, I just had a child who loved it and it's something I actually remember.

I think it was long ago she was ever short of money. Yes it will be inconsistent being a freelancer but she's had a good income for years that many could only dream of, for a very low workload that mostly involves posting on social media too.

Money is one of those things that the more you have the more you want. Jack feels entitled and owed a lot judging by her complaining that she has a meagre life. Join the rest of us plebs Jack!

Agreed. We know how impulsive she is. I'm not even sure it's for a job, she says "All set up and ready but no idea for what yet". Why haul all that equipment 500 miles if not for something specific?

Not to mention basically abandoning SB at a moment's notice. Ever thought he might be upset about the kitten too and might like his mum around (although to be fair, I'm not sure she's been present much for him recently)?

I go on plenty of self indulgent trips and do my own thing a fair bit. BUT. BUT!!!! My kids also get untold days out, and trips, and holidays. Plus, I don’t live my life through Twitter and actually am with them constantly, with 90% full attention. We never have an empty fridge, and I actually read with them and hang out with them. There’s no way that now, as we’re on the edge of a pandemic, I’d be ditching my kids for any reason. Plus he’s had all this trauma of the Mrs J, fake breakdown, cat grief stuff to deal with. She’s a bleep.
