So many people living in England with family in Scotland have stayed away for months and will continue to do so until safe, despite missing said family members but Jack’s OK to dash up there at the drop of a hat because ouchy heart so runny-away 😡

As an aside, I was listening to a podcast 'My dad wrote a porno' (very funny but, as the title suggests - explicit) and one of the presenters, Alice Levine, actually said at one point 'OMG I laughed up a lung!' she is the only other person I have known to use it, other than here obv.

I know entirely off topic, but My Dad Wrote A Porno is my absolute favourite podcast - and you're right, I've never heard anyone else use that saying! Maybe Jack is also a Porno fan...

She's used the sleeper in the past so it's a possibility. Although why is she so impulsive? That's the bigger issue here.

I fell asleep earlier and had to catch up. Anyone know the film Doomsday, they need to build that wall to keep Jack out and anyone else too really.
 
My brother and his family are heading up over the border this weekend and I’m feeling uncomfortable about it, and that’s to see actual family appropriately etc. I don’t care if we are opening up a little more today, I feel seriously weird about holidaymakers - which I know is logically wrong, as we need the tourism boost. But....*7 DAYS AND NO COVID DEATHS*!!! We’ve worked so hard for that up here.

As someone else said - read the room.

Also how selfish can you be? I can't wait to go to Scotland when this is over and just have some nice walks by myself and be at peace. See the sea etc. But the key phrase there is WHEN THIS IS OVER.

We know she's been selfish through the whole lockdown though - work supplies trips and train journeys galore. Yet I bet she'd be the first to pile on others...

to add an aside, I live around the same place but am not from here. Even after a few years living up here I’m still amazed at the gorgeous area and still yell “oh my god DEER!” Every time we are out in the car 🤣
