Having said that, I have NEVER seen a poster be corrected on keeping their cat inside/letting them outside and go "Oh you corrected me, I see the error of my ways, thank you"; certain people on both sides are incredibly obnoxious (it's twitter so it's inevitable) and most cat owners have valid reasons for their choice which they're not going to change. She didn’t establish that control over Harold and he isn’t playing any of her games. That narc injury will be needing lots of attention hence all the sad tweeting. I think that part of the reason he left was to do with Twitter, even if he isn’t on it one of her loved ones must have looked and had a word with him, and she is hoping word of her heartbroken state will get back to him and he will jump in his big car and come speeding over with some nightmeat for her 🤢

Yeah, LJC wasn’t a clean break like it sounds Harold was. She did get her back for a while too.

The other distinguishing factor (apart from LJC actually being definitely real and definitely in a serious relationship with Jack) is that people/squigs knew who LJC was and LJC has friends on Twitter. If Jack had started too much of this and too much of her sadfish tweeting about it, she risked being called out by someone “important” (in Jack’s eyes) that she couldn’t ignore. The generic “SHE LEFT” wouldn’t have been worth the effort but a constant string of posts about being heartbroken and trying to portray LJC like she is Harold when I suspect LJCs friends were well aware of the toll the whole relationship must have taken on LJC and I imagine were cheering the end would have been a very dangerous game.
