Anyone want to open a book on how Jack will get out of this?

2-1 bad mentals/on medical advice
1-1 never mention it again and hope it goes away
3-1 Threatening DMs, forced to withdraw because of concerns for her family
5-1 Hint of (imaginary) out of court settlement/Lozza at al begging her not to sue
10-1 'surprise ' pregnancy
20-1 Dark hints of 'higher intervention' from a powerful but shady cable (quickly deleted)
1000-1 goes to court
Infinity-1 says, soz my bad I over reacted.

Well Jenny, whereas you and I would probably check something like Clearscore or MSE websites to see the best deals available to us and then apply online, they do it quite differently in Southend.
All applications are done in person by lining up along the pier and the mayor walks up and down assessing people based on their tattoos. If you are deemed unworthy of your broadband contract he pushes you into the sea.
It's really embarrassing because people come and watch and they film it for the local news.

I class myself as fairly comfortable. Maybe not by some people's standards, I don't know. We're not rolling in it; we live in a 2 bed house, my kids share a room. But we can afford wifi and Netflix and if we fancy the odd takeaway then that's not a major issue.... If however we had to pay ~£2000 a month rent then we would be completely f*cked. It's called living within your means and just because you're not doing that, it doesn't mean you're poor!!!!!

Just jumping in to wonder whether, when Jack's finances are analysed by Big Legals, amongst the huge Patreon pay days, the prosecution team will see her up to date direct debits for Wifi, whoops!

Also, if questioned in a court of law, perhaps they'd also ask about this really cruel tenancy that mercilessly ties her into living in a hell hole for three years at a time.

This court case will be a breeze when the defence witness is simply incapable of lying!

Back to yesterday tea time I go :)

This is the crux of it though? 🔺I had a similar dive into the great povs in the last recession, went through the benefit mill, spiralling debt, the hoop jump through for benefits at the peak of their getting worse and more confusing. I got job after job that just didn’t quite pay enough but I managed and worked hard enough to be in better financials now.

I could have worked harder, smarter, whatever - but let it be known I own no Burberry scarves, bags, Emins, sideboards or other John Lewis flotsam, and my rent has never been £2k. She’s just so entitled 🤷🏻‍♀️ And that’s it
