Happy 300! I first joined in thread 2, hesitantly writing something like “She seems like a lot doesn’t she?” Now I’m a full blown frau, just desperate for someone to mention her in real life! I’d say I’m proud of how far she’s come in a mere two years but…well, you know. My highlights are the hilarious singing, DK and obviously Sir Matt’s forearms. The lowlights are the kitten, the eyeshadow black eye and the near-constant grifting

Also - do we know who this woman is and is she referring to 'you' second person particular or 'you' meaning 'one'?

Sorry if this has been shared but it made me 🦉 🍾 when I saw it. I watched Jack on Andrew Marr having never heard their voice before…. I lasted about fifteen seconds before having to turn over 🤣

This squig needs a hearing check…

I rarely look at Jack's twitter 🤢, but I just had a quick look now and the thing that stands out is how few likes most of her posts get. I mean most of them get under 10. (A rare one gets a few thousand). I was just quite surprised that with that many followers how low her engagement is.
I can see why she tries to be provocative to kick-start ( 🤭) that momentum again.

She is posh, but not in a pleasant way like Joanna Lumley! She has one of the worst voices I’ve ever heard.

Trying to sound posh because your parents are watching is the most middle class thing in the world. Funny how she thinks that’s a reasonable excuse to defend her “commoner” credentials.
 
Re the Thorpe Ward stuff... I wonder if this whole time she thought she lived in Thorpe Ward but this is the first time she's actually voted in a local election and found out she loves in another ward and sees both secretly seething she doesn't have the fancy address she thought and wanting to use it to bolster her imaginary w/c credentials and make more people think she's lives like a poor.

Badly worded ramble, but I know what I mean.

PS Happy 300 everyone! These threads were such a lifesaver during lockdown, and have been an amazing place to hang out ever since. Thank you Jack Monroe for your terrible cooking, appalling grasp of the English language, cuntish personality, and inability to understand that there are two Georgias. You brought us together - I hope you're enjoying a celebratory glass of flat cream soda and tea!

We used to do that all the time when I was a kid - two tins, couple of bits of string, away you go. I was born in 1975 though. I've recently had to reevaluate my pooh-poohing of the belief there's a big cat hunting in our area, now I'm going to have to reevaluate my belief in Jack's year of birth as well! #new1978truther
