Not too late to plant them in the garden. I occasionally use potato peelings (well the bits with the eye) to grow my own PoTaToeS.
There’s a tip for you Jack with your massive garden, unless her tenancy agreement prevents it.

It’s a subtle narrative shift here - she’s crowbarred herself centre stage with the fire service bollocks (as always), which was 10 full years ago now, whilst presenting the wider problem of cost of living - trying to push the idea all of it was forced upon her, all of it, and things like patreon and tv gigs are just an extension to societal injustices. So she’s not lucky, in a ‘just society’ she wouldn’t need to.. she’s repositioning herself (again) as the alpha victim.

There's also the segment of disabled/ill people who can't and will never be able to work, so it wouldn't make sense to 'incentivise' it for them.

I missed the firefighter comment at the end of the article because I was too distracted by the Guardian's note about their ''fearless journalism''. It sounds like a parody of one of those people who write angry letters to newspapers - Fearless from Islington 😅

Also wondering how it's possible for her to ruin spaghetti?! It's the simplest thing to get right.

Also, they’ve clearly not fact-checked anything.
Jack didn’t cause the ONS changes - they’d already been announced last year. She didn’t “launch” the Vimes Boots Index - it doesn’t exist. She doesn’t provide nutritious recipes for The Poors - the portions are tiny (so she can keep them artificially cheap) and are often calorie-deficient - it’s not food that people can live off.
She’s a vicious bully on SM. Time and time again.
All that, and she’s not paid tax for at least two years, despite working solidly and having many lucrative projects (not to mention ££££ from Patreon). This is not tax avoidance (legal), it is tax evasion (very much not legal).
I hope someone writes to this organisation and alerts them to this. If she wins, it will be hugely embarrassing for them.
Same goes for The Food Programme. I hope they’ve fact checked. And if they’ve interviewed her, god knows how many new lies the self-aggrandising twerp will have come up with.

ETA: Not to mention the scammy Kickstarter. So many skeletons in her closet.

Bet she was thinking ''how can I be down with the communist kidz?''and ended up going full Soviet.

 
I believe she would have been on income support back in the day and at that point she would not have been under pressure from the DWP to find work because her child was so young. She would also not have been under the threats of sanctions.

So basically. She was poor for 18 months and knows eff all about how hard it is to be on benefits right now. She’s the spokesperson for no one.
