Food Programme starring smol pixie is on Sunday 24th.
She talks about the VB Index 🤭 and also why there needs to be 'inclusivity and equality in the food world'. Interesting when she tried to publicly humiliate a non food writer for tweeting their food, and saw it as 'competition'.

If she wants inclusivity and equality in the food world she could start by raising up food writers from marginalised backgrounds, herself. Because she never bleeping does.

Surely to Christ she’s not admitting she has all this food in the house? And she has the bleeping gall to pretend her rent bounces and that she’s therefore poor? You could see her level of cognitive dissonance from outer space.

On a small grunk and only skim read her list but there’s more than enough there for several meals?

What a fuss over needing to go to the shop for a few bits.

That's the recipe for botulism.
Ah , I see you are more a vinegar kinda Frau

Why is she not pointing out the healthy fresh vegetables that are on offer for Easter. Aldi has big bags of carrots, parsnips and potatoes for 19p and 29p. Their coconut milks only 65p a can. Lovely she thinks micro rice is slovenly maybe it's safer for people with disabilities than using heavy pans with hot liquids.
I remember when I was younger being a bit snobby about pre grated cheese and pre chopped onions and then when someone pointed out that they are a godsend for blind people I felt terrible for my lack of awareness. I would have thought a literal food expert would have known all about this

I honestly don’t understand why a single person would need all the food she claims to have / buy? Why does a single person need to get a big bag of veg that needs using quickly? How would they manage to eat it all? She can’t be batch making curries and freezing them cos if she was we’d all hear about it. And despite buying and having all this food, why does she regularly claim that she’s spent “the last few months eating nothing but crisps / pot noodles/ cereal”? Why does she need the Patreon to “keep her shelves stocked”? Please, someone, make it all make sense!

I can't get my head around it.

I feed myself, my husband and my daughter every day, plus at least one of my sons will come up of an evening/weekend for a meal. All seven of us will be together on Sunday for Easter, so I need to go to the supermarket this evening. I've just had a look in the fridge at what we have: a haggis (Scots wha hae wi haggis fed), some cheese, some miserable spinach, four apples, and a celeriac that I honestly think I bought in January, plus condiments and some milk.

We're don't struggle to afford food, and I love to cook - this is just what happens when you don't buy unnecessary amounts of food and then waste it. The idea that her stocktake indicates she's got to "brave" the supermarket is laughable. The Gibbon O'Slop is an ungrateful swine, as per.

35 individual portions of meat/fish. Seeing as the milkman does bread, eggs, milk, cheese, butter and there's a Tesco's and greengrocer up the top of the road, there's no need to be hoovering up any yellow sticker food that actual poor people need. Could pick up the cat food, washing powder, soap, bog roll, toilet cleaner, kitchen spray and washing up liquid that she never, ever seems to buy from there as well.
