Im so far behind on threads now I wouldn't know where to start with a catch up. We're probably way past admission of tax avoidance now but if anyone can point me to the receipt I'd be a grateful recipient! Can't believe I missed jack admitting to not paying tax!
Why is he/ she/they/ Harold an OH if they haven't been dating for long??
Sorry for multiple posts I'm on an awful and disorganised grunkathon...but is she criticising people for calling it 'cooking bacon'?

Don't think I can afford such a big grunk but my fomo is getting the better of me

Hmmm???

She is literally the only person I've ever heard in my life refer to bacon as 'cooking bacon'.
Knooooooooobbbbb
I don’t know what the position is there, but I imagine she’d have to pay both (Indian and UK). She’s an Indian citizen but not Indian resident so I don’t know how that works re Indian tax. (She doesn’t have UK citizenship because India doesn’t recognise dual citizenship apparently). So if mrs rishi mate is now paying U.K. tax on non U.K. earnings, won’t India be pissed off?
I haven’t read the double tax treaty between UK and India - but there probably is one. So if the income is taxed in India as it arises there it will be taken into account and deducted from her UK tax bill - just depends on the rates paid in each country, and what it is, dividends etc. As always, the papers simplify it so much - international tax for high net worth individuals is really complicated, especially when people are guessing. So if mrs rishi mate is now paying U.K. tax on non U.K. earnings, won’t India be pissed off?
Well we know now that we all pay more tax than Jackcertainly she’ll have paid much more tax than Jack
So astrology then? Finally found something I do believe Jack suffers from!
The Barnum effect, also called the Forer effect or, less commonly, the Barnum–Forer effect, is a common psychological phenomenon whereby individuals give high accuracy ratings to descriptions of their personality that supposedly are tailored specifically to them, yet which are in fact vague and general enough to apply to a wide range of people.

Jack must live in constant fear, and I think she mistakes those feelings for conditions she has probably diagnosed herself. Constant worrying about envelopes and phone calls isn’t ADHD in this case, it’s a side-effect of refusing to play by the rules, which she is if she has £30k savings and chooses not to pay her tax.Honestly, @Froggies I have a proper fear of being in debt/owing money. I'm a spender and if I didn't put tax away as soon as my monies came in I would be living in a constant state of panic.
We also had to work really hard to get where we are and I'm not about to duck that up.
If Jack had a decent accountant and had a solid three years of business accounts showing growth, she could absolutely have got a mortgage by now. She is paid extremely well for what she does.
My favourite thing about TD is her that her Tweets never cross a line. She says what needs to be said without snark or digs and that must wind Jack up no end! We salute you TD!Squig uprising! And last time I looked, when it was about 35, there were a couple of blue tickers liking it.
As has been said before Essex Girl thought her taxes would be her downfall.
I can't feel sorry for her. She has milked poverty for years and hasn't given anything back.
I think sometimes she just can't help herself but fire out tweets, before thinking. Then she thinks better of it and deletes. She doesn't seem to have a great deal of restraint where Twitter is concerned.Jack must live in constant fear, and I think she mistakes those feelings for conditions she has probably diagnosed herself. but I had a lot of debts and that was one of the things I sorted out after I stopped drinking. The phone calls, the letters, a Sheriff’s Officer even turned up at my work to speak to me about a debt. I got in touch with a debt management company, paid them what they told me too and the feeling or pride and relief when the last payment came off was massive. Now I sensibly use credit because I never want to be in that position again.
I get my wages, I don’t even look at my payslip because it’s depressing the amount of tax paid but I’m glad I don’t have to get involved in it tbh. Brian Beauterfield, your plan sounds like a great idea - better to put too much aside than find yourself in a worrying situation at this time of year.
Also - Jack knows we have a crack team here of Silvery L and Marm capturing Tweets and we know she reads here…so why still the dirty deletes . Why bite and answer that one Tweet when she purposely courting numbers and then delete it again?
I think Twitter is a more productive platform for her begging. Because the way Jack uses the tip jar/patreon/buy me a coffee are begging bowls. She is a master at it.I think sometimes she just can't help herself but fire out tweets, before thinking. Then she thinks better of it and deletes. Talking of her social media use, she really neglects her other platforms now. Hasn't posted anything to Facebook for over a year and IG rarely gets any updates. It's all about Twitter for her and extracting maximum dopamine.
What does BIB mean?We are now !
Bit in bold, I think? What does BIB mean?
Ah thank(space)you - I have been trying to work that out as well!Bit in bold, I think?
