Sorry to hark back to an old thread and PLEASE let's let this be the last thing about football as I genuinely think it will finish me off, but someone said that Liverpool were founded first and I absolutely can't let this go. Everton were founded in 1878 and were first, they actually played at Anfield first too but gave it up to Liverpool in a dispute. Liverpool weren't founded until 1892

Never seen this angle before. Can't decide if it is thought-provoking or a little too far-fetched.

The one below is within the much bigger 'Marilyn Monroe' account thread. The person who started the main thread and received a warning from JM has protected their account. It does open up occasionally to allow reading at times when they unprotect the account. It is worth looking out for as contains plenty of interesting material and lots of new quote tweets.

FfS I got them the wrong way round, and I half posted and double posted.
I’m fucked, I’ve just done a tonne of online shopping yet I seem to be in a fugue state and shouldn’t be allowed on the internet. I’ll probably have a leg of lamb, champagne and some bedroom furniture in tomorrow’s Tesco delivery!

In the last thread, Jack spent a lot of money on a Liverpool away top and either spent or was gifted around £2K on Tiffany jewellery.

She cooked a disgusting plate of performative kickyball tweets

She told an improbable anecdote about always supporting Liverpool

She blamed her awful personality on IDK the eleven plus or something.

She did/did not (delete as applicable) interview Boris Johnson
 
I fully agree with the woeisjack idea. I have a big bugbear with people who make themselves a brand is the lack of divide between 'work' and 'personal life' (think Jack, Joe Wicks etc).

They damage their brand by only using one account. People who like her cookbooks (🤢) don't need to click on her account and see her latest breakdown (or Joe Wick's binge-eating). She should have a professional, business account which stays neutral and only posts recipes, and then if people want to, they can follow a personal account to watch her complain, grift and/or attack her followers

Eta: her complete disrespect for patreon subscribers annoys me too. She could do monthly cook-alongs or ask subscribers to give her random foods and she makes a recipe with them or even just post the damn postcards. Obviously the recipes would all be grim but at least squigs would be getting their moneys worth

I totally agree with this. I also think if I am feeling in the mood for slop I don't want the cook to politely tell me to duck off because I question their method. A simple you could do this, but this works for me is sufficient
