The term "forever home" should not be applied to human beings FFS. What if your son grows up and decides that a bleeping orangery is not a priority for him?

By the way, lol at all the roses and apple trees she's dreaming of. She can't even take care of her lawn, the place would be an overgrown mess full of missing pets in months.

+ mortgage companies don’t love a lot of things about 🥺forever homes🥺 either. A lot don’t like if there’s over an acre of land for that reason exactly, also tbh we’re currently trying to do this move and it’s been such a sharp learning curve/constant slap in the faces as there’s so much to learn and consider and we’ve already owned and renovated our first home, it’s a huge undertaking for anyone but especially a single FTB (single cos of salary but also emotional support tbh the whole thing is stressful af). Idk why her property mogul parents aren’t having this conversation with her?

Orangery…it’s probably a uPVC 1990s conservatory.
I understand anyones frustration at the difficulty of getting onto the property ladder these days, but the purple prose about apple trees and roses is ridiculous. Also “forever home” for a child who’s not far off his teens? Is she picturing him living with her forever?

What shall I do with my massive platform on the hellsite today? Yep, I'll gaslight people into buying me a house! Homeless refugees, cancer charities? Get to the back of the queue.

I think she's doing this to show she can.

Also, a 'forever home' for a child who doesn't even live with her.

I wish Mummy and Daddy would hurry themselves up and just give her one of theirs so she stops trying to scam people. Saying that, my last house had originally been bought for the LL daughter, and the parents had done such a bodgy job of the place, she wouldn't have it. Could imagine Jack being like that

I think that Daddy might be selling off part of his portfolio and someone has her eye on the profit.
This is based on my perusal of the publicly available estate agents in Southend, m'lud.

No I don’t think so, this one has the lead windows and a fig tree instead of the apple tree she mentioned
Well figs and apples can be used interchangeably. A fruit tree is a fruit tree.

Anyway there's nothing to stop her having apple trees right now. She could get nice dwarf ones and grow them in a container. I say this because whilst I acknowledge apple Jack will be be as unbearable as all the other Jacks, the bees like a bit of apple blossom and she has the space and means to do her bit.
