I’m trying to think of all the cool things I must have done by simply being adjacent (Jack is poverty adjacent - anything to do with it and it’s all about her and she did it see Healthy Start Vouchers when she was a mere prophetic child who could see being a poor person in the future) I digress.

Erm. Actually I haven’t been adjacent. I’ve done actual stuff. Like a normal person not a grifter.

This is why I don't like her campaigns tbh. It's all smug, depressive, trigger words.

People like MR just say I have been there and it's horrid, now I want to see things change and does it. He doesn't upset to make his point. Facts, empathy and compassion is all he needs!

It reminds me of those Big Sleep Out events (which incidentally Jack has done) where middle class people play at being homeless for the night. Although God forbid a homeless perspn actually tries to join them... they get moved on.

That tweet is not accurate though. Charities, including the Fuel Bank Foundation, give out fuel vouchers not the energy companies. So at least she’s not amplifying the incorrect information this time to her followers, just over claiming her role in the launch of the Foundation. She was hired to do some promo work for the launch but that was it.

Energy suppliers can give out additional support credit to their customers if they don’t have enough money to top up but that money needs to be paid back. They effectively give their customers a temporary ‘loan’ and the money is recovered through future top ups.

I keep thinking back to this, he didn't pause or bat an eyelid. He did mention price promise, Aldi and Lidl though.
I reckon the top brass at all the major food retailers in the UK had a meeting about that fool Monroe woman.

I’m glad I missed sex work Jack. I’d query how she had all the time to don all these different misery-hats being a poor smol single mumma but then I remember she’s only that a couple of days a week.
