I would tolerate it if some belligerent teenager had thought of this t-shirt. Once you are an adult and decide to virue signal like this you deserve all the scorn that comes your way. I want Jack to promote this by a photo of her standing outside Shoebury Asda with an angry face and crossed arms and another one of her sadly pointing to a bag of rice.
 
I find it crazy that something like this 'merch' thing can be set up quite so quickly..? Surely there should have been some kind of planning go into it for the charitable donation side to be legit etc. How can it be all above board? People are supposed to trust the word of Jack Monroe? YIKES
 
dear hearts and precious nincompoops of the cable, I have been struggling to keep up,
and struggling mentally with all the cash Jack is raking in for shouting on twitter,
and talking bollocks figures all over the show!

I hope that this latest venture, dead people can't riot merch, will expose the shyster grifting greedy liar
for the middle class twee twit she really is!

Whilst thousands, if not millions of US carry on using food banks ad nauseum.

She definitely didn't invent it, I've just done very basic google/twitter searches and variations of it (eg dead people don't riot / dead men don't riot) have been around for years. There's also some T shirts floating about with the logo "Dead men don't r*pe, which also seems to be the name of at least one song 😬

It’s weird there’s no sort of minimum order - but they’re priced so highly / have such a shocking margin for the “creator” that they’ve clearly baked small runs into their costs…

It’s just so bizarre people are asking for custom phrases, like you can literally log on and do this yourself???
