I don’t know who’s worse: Jack and her tit designs, or the middle class wannabe edgy wanker who would buy it and wait for people to notice.

I fear for my liberty should I ever encounter one in the wild.

Tell me you're a middle class wannabe edgy wanker without telling me...

100% of profits on this one. So consistent

I can’t believe she’s gone with that slogan.
I can’t believe how expensive they are.
I can’t believe anyone is buying them.

Oh wait. I can believe it. I’m just disappointed. But honestly there are so many more cost effective pod suppliers out there. This vanity project is resulting in so much wasted money not going to charity. It beggars belief.

(but of course the real villains are the supermarkets for selling/not selling 45p rice.)
I want to know if the actual shirts being printed on are ethically sourced. Imagine wearing a t-shirt for the poors that some poor sod in Thailand has painstakingly made for the current price of UK pasta! Per shirt!

These questions the squigs should ask!

I genuinely cannot get over her plastering “Jack Monroe” on all that tacky merch. Top level cuntery. And as if you want to put your name to that hella awful slogan?! It’s all in such bad taste.

Absolutely ⚰ ⚰ ⚰ (much like her grandad and all the other dead people that can’t riot).

None of this is about poverty. It's passing the buck to Jack, "oh I support Jack Monroe and she helps the poors", Jack is astute enough to realise that she only needs to make the odd token gesture to make them happy. That's why they're always angrier about people pointing out the grift than they are about subsidising that utter fraud.

I just think it looks like Jack is inciting a riot, although I’m sure she wouldn’t.
Even a simple anti-austerity march in Whitehall led to anti-social behaviour and a war memorial being defaced, which as we know, is not something you can attribute to Jack because she would never do such a thing and to say so is in fact libelous, as her court case against KH showed.
It’s a real conundrum.
I’ll put it on the list with “macroeconomics slogan” and “bread and circuses= appease the people/ no bread just circuses= the govt aren’t appeasing the people?”

Canis est in via Silver, Caecilius est in horto.
Metella loves being est in atrium, or Horto. Boring cow.

How awesome would it be to make a Slopbot t-shirt and have every penny donated to the TT, with a massive bleeping receipt and it plastered all over Twitter.

I’m in.
We discussed it last year and decided to draw our own and give the money it would cost for a teatowel/ T-shirt to charity. We’re smart like that. Sidey T gave us permission to use downloadable SLPBT images and everything.

To be fair I do think Tee Mill are one of the better ones? I'm pretty sure the factory is powered by green energy and you can send a t shirt past wearing back to them for recycling. I think they use organic cotton that's sourced appropriately but I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong. I bought a Maddie Moate tee for my boy from them a few years ago so naturally I'm devastated to see the Haus of Monroe emerging today.

Just checked it is apparently organically sourced. That's one good thing.

Though I did read that the person setting it up gets all the money made sent to them within 30days. Does that mean the trussel trust should have made £££ in by march if she indeed gives them it all?
I think she said she was due her first payment in early March which she will then hand over to the poors. I will be studying those receipts FORENSICALLY.

They aren't her original words. It isn't really her 'design' as such, she's typed words into their software and used their apostrophe-less fonts. She won't be making, or sending the products. What exactly justifies her signature on all of it? It's bizarre. If it was her artwork or something, maybe. She is so bloody odd, it just looks out of place.

Folks here will keep an eye on it as they did with the donation she was supposedly going to make to BLM. We never saw evidence that donation was made so I imagine this will go the same way.

I too think that whatever sales figures she is quoting are exaggerated (dunno what in the 344% gave me that idea).

The post about the tees didn't have that many likes, she retweeted herself AGAIN etc. People might chuck over a pity like but I do think she's inflated the numbers along with her ego.
