I can’t believe she’s gone with that slogan.
I can’t believe how expensive they are.
I can’t believe anyone is buying them.

Oh wait. I can believe it. I’m just disappointed. But honestly there are so many more cost effective pod suppliers out there. This vanity project is resulting in so much wasted money not going to charity. It beggars belief.

(but of course the real villains are the supermarkets for selling/not selling 45p rice.)
 
It makes me feel awful that her involvement makes me not want to do anything to help out the Trussel Trust. However it makes me very much want to help out my local foodbanks/charities/well-intentioned local endeavours in general.

So if she's trying to do some sort of subversive kind of reverse activism then well done I guess.

OMG NO.NO NO NO STAY AWAY FROM JACK, MATE I know this person... it's my mate Scott of the local tshirt shop... he would never do anything for such dubious charitable credentials... Currently he is involved with the Sue Grey tour shirt.. he produced a 1 off and has raised so far over £800 for Shelter and you know with him it will actually chuffing BE donated

If these people really need to advertise how generous they are why don't they just make & wear a t-shirt with the slogan "I support Trussell Trust". Then whenever anyone sees it and wonders what it means they can Google it, see the charity and possibly donate. These inappropriate slogans aren't going to achieve any of that, they'll just leave people wondering what the duck is going on.

Argh it's just all so illogical!

The middle classes imagine people further down the social scale than them are some sort of feral beasts who start smashing stuff when they're unhappy. They like the idea of them rising up and overthrowing their political enemies while they watch from a safe distance.
