This is why this thread is fab. We all have completely different hills to die on.

For some it may be the fact that Jack has failed to produce a granola recipe. For others, it is the fact that she pronounces the word ‘milk’ wetly.

Yet, we can accept these differences and continue to have fun and giggles.

Mine, (in this case) is the fact she uses a bleeping blender. On a kids recipe. It reminds me of being an actual poor in the olden days of blue Peter and they rocked up with an easy to make thing at home, no prep but expected all us 70s urchins to have sticky backed plastic lying around.
Inclusive she is not.

I graduated in 2012. Even in the olden days you could hang your work in online. Why doesn't she do that, you cannot catch COVID through a pc.

My lecturers were real hard cases about assignment deadlines they were really hard to get out of unless you had really good evidence you were sick.

That would be really bloody expensive and complicated. Even the nhs doesn’t mandate PCRs for staff. For patients yes, every 3 days or so . But staff do LFTs or LAMP testing. Only asked to do PCRs if symptomatic. I’ve gone through the whole panny d and only ever done 2 PCRs! Our Jackie obviously is far more worthy of multiple PCRs than actual frontline staff though, of course.

I thought she was super sore scratchy poorly throat sadface etc etc? Personally when feeling unwell I don’t go out to eat (or order takeaway that has nachos in it? Gotta be great for a sore throat, those?!)
