No, I agree it is really sad. She genuinely looks on the edge of tears and I just don't know who it is supposed to appeal to beyond her really dedicated fans? And it is lovely that she has really dedicated fans but it's not enough to make a career from.

If this was someone who worked for me, presenting/training/whatever, I'd have tactfully pulled them out by now, not nastily, but just to look after them.

Agreed, I don't know why she is so desperate to be TV presenter when she's got no ability for it and she doesn't even seem to be trying hard. I'm sure she could do better than this if she worked harder.
