It's okay, I was about four pages behind when I posted my comment and I didn't see your replies.

I suppose it confuses me that someone would accept and agree to appear on her thing, and then join here? If you were not a Tattle member, I wouldn't know of you, and I'd assume you were someone who at least likes her enough to appear along with her. Instead, you did choose to join here after you were invited, you have posted comments here (which whilst may not be mean/horrible/overtly negative, are not exactly supportive either).

As a professional, turning down an opportunity might not be want you want to do... But you've made it fairly obvious from your comments on here as to who you are (I found you on Twitter), and I don't see how your sudden appearance on here after your invite is professional or relevant to someone who is trying to increase their numbers. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but it doesn't make sense.
100% get your confusion, maybe I haven't clarified as much as I thought. I had read here for a few weeks, after being sent over from Digital Spy re the whole Phillip Schofield thing. I joined on Tuesday after the mayo company asked me if I was still ok to go on, and I expressed my confusion as it was blackout tuesday and Cheti was clearly taking part so how could the show go on? I also expressed surprise (to the mayo company) tht Jack wasn't taking part, given her recent video. They clearly knew nothing about it, which meant she knew nothing about it or she would have told them in advance.

This kinda pissed me off - I knew the rough amount of money she would be being paid, and she should have warned them of this but she couldn't because she didn't know.

To be fair to her, I only knew of BoT because of here.

I've not hidden who i am, despite my username - you're not the first Tattler to find me on Twitter, I'm chatting to a couple :)

I wouldn't dream of saying you're cynical, I don't know anything about you, all I know is my own intentions - as I said, I'm a member of many other sites that discuss her.

Feel free to say Hi on Twitter :)

Omg lemonade, you’re fancy I love it! I normally wouldn’t have any in but I actually do, we had chicken shop delivered last night (I didn’t confess on the thread cos you guys all had classy dinners, also FYI I don’t eat the chicken so don’t need to feel guilty about welfare but the chips are superb) so I’ve got some tins of 7up 😂

I’m gonna try blends now, this is so exciting thank you!

What I used to do is dilute the OJ down to half, like you would with a St Clement's.

If I were entertaining myself with such things now, I'd try St Clement's in one layer with slightly too strong to drink lime cordial in another.

Another would be using my patented frozen tinned peaches, OJ and some sort of citrus soda. If not gin and tonic.

Or vodka, fizzy water and OJ.

Any granita recipe would work, really.

I’m really lusting after a veggie version of Poutine for dinner tonight. I find veggie gravy really difficult though as it just doesnt hit the spot like beef gravy ... do any of you lovely Foodie Frauen (and Herren) have a really good mushroom or otherwise veggie gravy recipe I can try !!?
My haus mann does a beautiful red onion and shiitake mushroom reduction - add thyme, vegan Worcester sauce (maybe teriyaki/miso paste if you don’t have it). Bit of cornflour to thicken, little bit of tomato paste... red wine if you drink alcohol. Please don’t add tea 😆

And I feel bad popping up with vegan gravy without referencing yesterday so I’d just like to say that I’m so glad I picked such a courageous, informed and thoughtful cabal of libellous witch fraus to hang with ❤️. You express yourselves in ways that I am inspired by.

Yet more inconsistencies.

She gave up reading here after DKL and her mental health is do much better vs. she's still reading here and is terribly fragile so please be kind.

She doesn't have the time/can't be bothered to pursue a legal case vs. the legal case is being written as we speak.

She used the shed to provide a clear gap between work and home vs. "now I have a fully functioning filming studio ….. Time to start investing in myself"

@Begborrowsteal I’m sorry, I haven’t read the full thread so this may have been mentioned, but when I found my bastard ex cheating on me, I was directed by some lovely friends to a website called Chump Lady. I credit it with saving my life. It may not be what you need to read right now but if you do take a look I hope it helps. Wishing you strength and peace xx

you’ve just reminded me that baggage reclaim is a fab site that’s helped me in the past too

It is banana blossom yes, I'm presuming she'll say 'bung it in a curry' from my Googling.

To bring this thread back to me a la THAT WOMAN, I'm beginning to feel as if some members feel I have to choose between being a member here or doing the show I was invited on to and will be on for 5 minutes if that. That's a bit like Jack saying someone can follow her or be a member here but not both. Or like Jack blocking members she knows are Tattlers. I can only imagine the uproar here if that were the case.

If you're vegetarian, you could still have Bisto? The bog standard one doesn't have any animal products in it (avoid the 'Best' jars, though).

Vegan/more concerned about whether meat products are made in the same factory/avoiding palm oil - Onion and mushroom gravy.

Soften finely sliced onions on a very low heat with a pinch of salt until they are thick, dark and sticky. Takes ages, so make tons so you can also do onion soup with some stock for lunch tomorrow.

Take out enough for gravy, add some thyme/rosemary, pepper and small bits of 3-4 flat mushrooms (you need the gills). Continue to cook for a long time on a low heat. Add splashes of water occasionally if you're worried about anything burning.

Once they are all cooked to blackness, start adding liquid (Kallo mushroom stock cubes?) a bit at time - once it looks like it's too thin, add a blob of redcurrant jelly/onion chutney. If you want it as something with substance, carry on, if you want smooth gravy, blitz it. Add some more herbs if you like. Use a spoonful of cornflour or potato flour slaked off with some of the liquid and keep stirring. Or chuck a cooked spud into the mix before you blend it - I use spuds rather than dairy/dairy substitutes for all soups.

A splodge of miso melted in before thickening helps if you've got it.

I’m very much the lurker on JMs threads but boy she really chaps my ass. I followed her a while ago but unfollowed as her erraticness(!) made me twitchy. I have to say, I frequent a lot of threads on Tattle (almost always just reading) but this one has to be the most unique and full of the most supportive people I’ve seen on an internet forum. Jack really is reaching if she thinks this is bad, maybe if she stopped contradicting herself, blatantly lying and called herself out every once in a while there would be no need for this thread 🤷🏻‍♀️

@CarrotsandSticks saw this on a slimming world insta account but make no claims about it - everyone raves about it but I haven't dared to try it

Don't know if oxo is vegan though

god I love 7up or sprite and fresh orange. My dad used to tell me off for mixing them because apparently it was wasteful but I was using HALF the amount of each and he’d never ever concede that it wasn’t going down quicker

Sigh.
If you really were in the middle of a compiling a legal case you really really would not talk about it on SM.
And what exactly would the charges be? 'They were mean and brought up stuff I talked about in the past and hoped everyone else had forgotten'. Speculation and opinion is not libellous. If that were the case would the Daily Mail (as a poor eg I know) allow their comments section? How the hell can anything we say even been anything other than speculation and opinion as we don't know her - other than based on the information she freely choses to give about herself. It is not libellous to wonder why she insinuated she may have Covid 19 with her coff coff coff, yet a couple of weeks later says it was 'severe hay fever'. Or to speculate that her white sauce looks like horse spunk.
Sigh.

Welcome Martha. Great to have new contributors commenting on here - it will help to spread the legal costs out. The more the merrier. (y)

The reason I guessed banana blossom is because when JM started her lockdown larder on Twitter, my friend tweeted her a few times asking about it and never got a response. She seemed to keep avoiding it in favour of questions about lentils. Will be interested to see what she recommends. I’d never heard of it before then.

As for you being on the show. It was me who raised it originally and although we have different opinions on it, I don’t think you need to pick that or tattle. I respect your decision to do it and your reasons why. It isn’t what I’d do but that’s ok. It’s not one or the other as far as I’m concerned.

I think more people get nervous when it's directly linked, mostly because it makes it much easier for anyone who's discussed to make the claim of 'harrassment' and a 'gathering of bullies'. I think the problem is that you are, I believe, acting in good faith, that doesn't mean that your actions will necessarily be interpreted that way the person being discussed.

I've stayed away from this, before now, because I can see both sides, though I did mention it in relation to someone else way way back. I've just checked the rulebook <thumbs pages, looks over glasses> and it says:

Keep it on tattle, and don't encourage any behaviour that could be seen as harassment.

I think the discussion is coming in because some people (and I probably, when I'm not getting splinters in my arse, am one) take that first bit as meaning that you don't engage with whoever you're talking about AND link it to/on Tattle, because it could then be seen as straying towards the 2nd part of that sentence. I, personally, choose not to engage with JM at all, and if I did I wouldn't say it was me here, because that blurs the line between 'water cooler chat' if you like and joining the two together.

HOWEVER (ow, my poor bum), I can see that it can be read as criticism is reserved for here and engaging in non-confrontational/non-harrassy ways would be absolutely fine. I can see why you'd think that, and we all get to make our choices.

I like to keep things simple, for myself, so I keep my social media interaction with JM to watching through my fingers and making mildly horrified faces at my screen.

Bung it in a curry with some tinned peaches and frozen peas. Grate some corned beef into it, add a few drops of bottled lemon juice.

Rinse some beans and grind them down to a paste in a fancy blender. Add mayo to the paste and you have a delicious side to your curry. Tada.
