She changed her name to Jack Monrooooooe with a ghost but it disappeared in front of my eyes.

This has always been my theory too.
By her own admission she tried to sue them/take to tribunal (whichever narrative suits at the time) and then turned up after maternity leave demanding stupid hours.
That alongside what a massive pain in the arse she is and only got the job because Daddy gave it to her.
She would not have been popular.
She probably thought she'd call their bluff and threatened to resign, thinking they'd beg her to stay. Instead they called HER bluff and accepted it.
Once those wheels are in motion it is very hard to backtrack and they wouldn't let her take it back.
I have no knowledge of how the Fire Service works, but a good friend is civilian staff for the Met police (a call handler no less!) and the parental leave he took was very generous and that was 30 years ago. He pretty much got to pick and choose within reason his return pattern.
Difference is he is a really lovely chap and a hard worker. If his kids were sick or the shift clashed with his wife's job then they were more than accommodating. I can only imagine the Fire Service are the same.
She probably said she could only work Mondays, but not this Monday because that was then, this is now...

From my experience, employers like good hard workers who take their job seriously, spoiled little princesses with attitude problems often get shafted as quickly as the managers can do it without causing themselves grief.

I imagine this is what happened to her.

I did think about scribbling them out but honestly at this point she’s her own worst enemy. Nice recognisable wreath, too. 🤦🏻‍♀️

PS - Can’t wait for Marmalade to see Jack’s updated kitchen pic.
