Happy (re)Birthday, sorry I’m a bit late! That makes two of us, ba-BOOM! Anyway, could the BBC & Moaning Monroe have ‘technical issues’ between 10-11am every day for the next two weeks, please? Big, HUGE issues.

That aside it was so stressful watching her. The sound quality was bad enough, but her affect in front of the camera was so awkward. The whole thing was cringe worthy. I hope the BBC see the light and realise she’s not cut out for tv.

Good catch! I missed that, was too busy gawping at the magnetic spice jars on her fridge - they aren’t cheap (I know, got some for my brother for Christmas). By my rough count she has at least 100 on there! I wish I was poor & struggling like that. Wish I could afford the 100 different spices & herbs to go into them. Wish I could afford to cook so much, for so many people, that I could have 100 different herbs & spices and use them all so most of them weren’t going to be stale every month & needed to be thrown away.

mostly tho I wish she wasn’t so massively full of tit

Jack seems to love Nigella and her support. I guess it’s ok to slag off lovely Monty Don and his acres but not Nigella with her upper class, privileged life?

Funny you should say that , Victoria Derbyshire just before said something like " coming up next Jack Monroe's new show Daily kitchen along with Matt Tebutt ... It's deffo Matt's show she can't carry this at all
 
Going by the tweeps I know who smarm all over her, it’s because her ‘brand’ is ‘working-class single mother, multiple invisible health issues including the full ticklist of aspergers/ ADHD, sexually somewhere variable on the genderfluid spectrum, forged in the Real Fires of Real Poverty & Hardship - and everything she does is about Helping Others Like Her & nothing to do with self-pimping / attention whoring, let alone - gasp! - MAKING MONEY!’ I.e., everything every feckless snowflake on Twitter personally relates to. They see themselves in her.

Salt and vinegar?! Only if you want to be fancy 😉. Thanks to all who took one for the team and watched Jack’s new show, with Matt Tebutt. I can’t even bring myself to watch it on catch up, the cringe is just too much.

I know - as if they expect the great guru Jack (or whoever) to say NO, of course you can't put chillies into this dish!
