There's lots of mess-ups on the live news channels. But that's because they are constantly churning out news and have to cut to people with little prep time. As this was supposed to be Jacks big break it's strange the camera and audio were such low quality. Couldn't someone in a hazmat suit from the beeb go-round with a decent camera and audio?

They also had a repeat of Nadia making ice cream from cream and condensed milk. While she is decent at presenting it I'm sure anyone with a kitchen aid knows that recipe for ice cream.
She's been doing some Instagram cooking and she's so much better than Jack. Not sure why she didn't get asked.

Waiting on the hate 🤣🤣🤣

I've just watched it keeping an open mind. She is very very awkward and amateurish, her stance, hand gestures, giggles and ad libs are just cringe enducing.

Matt is obviously a consummate professional which throws things into even worse contrast. The doctor was good and very relaxed and confident. Agree there was no rapport between her and Matt, he carried the whole thing.

So not shocked that she didn't actually turn up, pull the other one jack 🙄

To be honest I think the whole programme is a mistake, I don't think the BBC needed to commission it, it's bad TV all round (presenters, production quality, content - both the new recipes and the clips all missed the mark I thought) and I think they missed the boat really, too little too late. Don't think it will be a great success.

It's so predictable and pathetic that Matt tebbutt is being dragged all over twitter for not wanting to use the inferior nutritionally void manufactured lemon juice. Lemons are hardly a luxury - they work out 15p each in a bag of 4 wonky ones at Lidl. It's a no brainer to use a real lemon to get some actual vitamins and they last ages in the fridge.

Yet jack attracts no criticism for having a pop at Monty donn for having a big garden after a clip of him showing how to grow something if you just have a windowsill. Madness I tell you 🤷‍♀️ but thats jack and her mob of useful idiots.

Was the tv that was on not the one in the kitchen that she kept looking at? So she would know the sound was on? It would have been better of her to say, hang on let me mute the tv than to have an echo for the whole 45 minutes
Why was she watching it in the first place? Is that a normal thing to do when appearing via video link (the doctor wasn’t though)?

I'm gutted, I couldn't watch it. I started and tried my best but "the cringe" got me within minutes.
Thank you all who tattled along with it, I really enjoyed following it on here even though I couldn't stand to watch it.
And as for the few minutes I saw, she definitely had a TV on above her phone, she kept looking up at it and adjusting the way she was standing so it was obvious she was looking at herself on screen. She caused her own sound issues 🙄 Can't believe she then blamed her TV exec (?) partner for it 😏
Gutted I've missed this doctor though, sounds like he was good.
Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

At this rate, hopefully no one in telly will want to work with her, because she's just too difficult, unprofessional and awkward to work with.
