I realise I’m way too invested in this for one day BUT didn’t she call Jamie out for using capers saying they’re not a store cupboard ingredient? However i’ve just read her most recent Instagram recipe list which includes Ginger, a whole bulb of garlic, Soy sauce, chilli, coconut milk and lime pickle, none of which I have a problem with but I wouldn’t say they are much different to the capers. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Imagine if Jamie had created that recipe, she would have ripped him to shreds.

Who’s got lime pickle knocking around their cupboard?!

What's even worse is after she chastised him for using capers and saying that's not something everyone has or something to that effect, she had a recipe come out in the metro where she used bloody capers and Im pretty sure (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) she said oh how we guffawed at Jamie using capers or something along those lines, turns out she likes capers herself, so why is she being all crappy about him using capers when she likes them? Oh because she suddenly realises lots of people who follow her have them in their cupboards and she can't be judgmental to the people she begs money off... Eeewwww lime pickle, now that is vile imo, I'm really lazy when it comes to cooking, I adore cooking and love throwing recipes together but I never have fresh garlic or ginger in, I'm garlic and ginger paste from a tube type person 😂😂

Having old bits of food rotting in the fridge is an odd thing for someone so scarred by their time in poverty. She's spoken about how that time has left many marks on her, being unable to open post and hoarding luxury clothing and accessories in case she needs to sell them. Someone so affected by food poverty, she had to starve herself and sell possessions to get food in the not so distant past, is now so careless with the food she has, that it starts to rot.

Is it another attempt to be relatable?

Her partner must have lived somewhere previously, and if she bought it then I presume she now rents it out which would bring in further money for their household. I presume she moved to Essex because of Jack’s son’s school and father’s location.
She did come out and say her partner "owns property" so this is likely.

I don't get the fuss over the capers. Why can't they be a store cupboard ingredient? They're cheap as anything in Lidl, last for ages as you only use a few at a time. Is she implying that 'poor' people won't have them in as they're too 'fancy'?? As that's a bit assuming and insulting really.

Most luxury clothing has a terrible resell value though, unless we’re talking about Chanel bags or ~iconic~ vintage pieces (and those pieces will vary in value over time anyway?). Whilst they retain their value they’re harder to sell because of the price point, they require actual care and maintenance (eg you can’t shove them in a dust bag in your garage for a decade), and... you need an eye for that sort of thing? Sorry to get personal but judging by the outfits I’ve seen I would be amazed if she’s curating a luxury resell closet full of desirable vintage Westwood, Gautier and Versace pieces to sell onto stylists? It sounds like a way to justify buying more awful All Saints polyurethane jackets tbh?

You would be far, far better placed putting the cash in savings? Or if you wanted appreciating assets, a stocks & shares ISA... I actually grew up poor & constantly battle tit (needless) worries re financial security though, no cosplay for me 😂

And again with the bloody chickpeas.

Jamie made a good looking fish pie on his show, using frozen fish. I know which dish I’d prefer.

Chickpeas and fish sound like a strange texture combo.

The tweets are embarrassing! Who looked at her twitter and thought it was a good idea to give her a show? How do people get away with being such shameless bullies?

Absolutely, it’s an outright lie to justify buying multiple Burberry items in one shopping trip etc, otherwise logic says the items would now have been put on eBay and hyped to her followers to push the bids up rather than “it’s an emergency, please send cash straight to my PayPal or become a patron”. She’s never had any intention of parting with any of her splurges. Yet another example of the lies she struggles to keep track of.

Also I could almost understand if she was going to the Burberry / Pringle / other outlet stores and reselling immediately on eBay but even that is risky, you need an eye for what is actually good vs tat and either sheer luck or a pre existing network of buyers? She’d be better shopping those H&M collabs on release and putting it straight up.

Tried to find the references to Burberry & this thread has been deleted.

Tbh Burberry’s resell is quite low. I had a £350 cashmere scarf nicked and I went to check eBay for it and they only go for £110 odd, livid wasn’t the word 😂
