👋 Long time lurker here to say hello and thank you for the proper laughs these past few weeks. I feel like I know you all 😊 I’ve been driven to break cover because if I rant at my OH any more they will kill me 😂
So - I’ve just watched bits of the shed show and here is a list of things I am gobsmacked by....
It didn’t start on time
She was in no way prepared
She wasted her guest
She admitted if it works it’ll continue for 6 weeks leaving door wide open for major face palm embarrassment..
The ‘recipe’...
The arrogance...
The wifi 🤦‍♀️
The hygiene (shudders)
The side eye reading
The flipped camera
The total lack of charisma
And at the risk of joining the party bus to court...I for one find it *very difficult* to believe that haircut was done by her own fair hand with a beard trimmer 😂
Phew, it feels GREAT to get that off my chest 😘

I had a revelation recently, in a discussion with my partner, that it turns out that there are a lot of people in this world who have never considered suicide. It's not even something that enters their head. Was baffling to me, in bad phases I probably consider it several times daily. Not to any serious degree IYSWIM, apart from once or twice, and those times are a while ago, but I see it as an entirely reasonable option, as valid as getting help or just soldiering on. I don't even find the thought that I'm considering it upsetting, it's just one of the available choices. Even in relatively good times, if there's a blip, I'm likely to do the numbers around it. I think I've been doing it for about 20 years. He found that (I guess, naturally) shocking. What was weird was I found it equally as shocking to learn that he'd never thought about it. It was a real insight to both of us around general mental health vs living with mental illness. Also, I suppose a note to self that it might be a good indicator for me of when I have things under control and when I don't. Sorry, bit rambly, and it's not intended to be upsetting, or something I feel I need sympathy for (sorry that seems blunt, but I mean it's not a 'woe is me' post), it was just fascinating at the time. Sorry, I know it's a sensitive thing, which is why I made it avoidable (hopefully)

she should have been sat there ready to go, greeting the people who tuned in.
just those few minutes were truly horrific and I think she knows it and hates herself for it, so as a result her twitter will be interesting over the next few days.

What I don't understand is why you would admit you were so unprepared? Why would you put out content that you weren't 100% proud and confident in?

Despite all her claims of working every hour God sends, she is essentially lazy in that she's not willing to put the effort required into any of her ventures to actually make them worthwhile or even look vaguely professional.

Sorry, I'm not as eloquent as many on here (too many drugs in my youth - don't do drugs, kids), waffling.

Neither have I lol but my other half talks to me about it on the regular so I have learnt enough without ever watching and I'm assuming none of her fans nor Jack have watched it either, what a bleeping insult to Miguel....good job she couldn't remember the actual word really..
 
So I had a couple of glasses of wine in the garden at lunchtime then had to have a little nap and didn’t wake up! I was dead to the world. I missed the whole tit show. I dunno if I’m particularly sad about that (more upset I missed dinner)! I am just reading through the tattlealong now. So as far as I understand it she did a live cook along without actually cooking anything for a sponsor that she barley mentioned and then went on a rant about politics or her interest in it at least that she rarely touches on!?!

I have an issue with her and politics in so much as I don’t think she is political enough. If you really care about people having enough food then you have to get political. Rally the troupes, shout about it every bleeping second of every minute. Campaign, lobby, raise awareness and money and support. She could easily talk about ‘this is where I was and I will do my upmost to ensure there are fewer and fewer people have to experience that’ but nope it’s still a Jack Pity Party for one. Wow I’m having an angry Wednesday.

Neeps are swede??? Oh my god what a revelation! So neeps and tatties are potatoes and swede? God I thought neeps was some sort of thing like haggis and being veggie I didn’t explore anymore! Christ and I say in to food 🤦🏻‍♀️

whoops - just seen all the other posts explaining this. Apologies - my sons have been rinsing ALL the Star Wars films and I was like ‘Yes!! I know this!!’
For her to be referring to him as an apprentice - just another feather in her cap of arrogance / blinkered outlook!

Interesting, and even though not huge numbers, she has been losing followers this past week, normally she gains so many followers you never see the red, but this time she has lost more followers than she has gained in several days... Wonder what in particular causes her to lose followers, because there are certain things that I would think would lose her 1000s of followers but she doesn't and yet this week has been relatively timid by Jack's standards and we are seeing her in the red, even though only small and doesn't make a real dent, I still find it interesting lol 😂

Yes calling it lockdown larder when we’re seemingly on the road to not being on lockdown (I know it’s more complex than that, but really we are moving forward if you think about proper lockdown back in late March/ early April, and plans to open schools and non-essential shops etc - although as a teacher the schools thing is a bit of a shambles!). She’s really missed the boat. Also potato salad - not a meal?!
All the chat about it has made me want some so going to make some but it’ll be part of a picky lunch you know?!
