So I was checking to see if I could find the del Monte EXCLUSIVE recipe (as advertised on their insta) and it's here, written by Jack, but published over a fortnight ago. https://wiselivingmagazine.co.uk/food-and-drink/recipes/pear-almond-and-buckwheat-cinnamon-buns/
Potential ED trigger/nutritional content breakdown behind blurry spoiler. I don't think that recipe has been forensically scientifically tested. That's never 231 cals in a serving. I would guess double that easily.
 
The frequency with which she changes her Twitter bio is fascinating. It really illustrates her level of self obsession and how important she thinks it is.

Remember those email surveys your mates used to send around in the MSN era that asked stuff like your favourite colour, last kiss, and everyone used them to flirt with their crushes and/or make themselves seem edgy and mysterious? I bet she spent hours writing her own and then answering them.

It's just so badly presented, it's a small detail admittedly but the edge of the cake looks untidy and the edge of the bowl looks dirty from the remains of the ingredients - just things that would be tidied up if presented by a professional. Oh, and the cake itself looks and even sounds terrible..

Sadly, it's something titled 'fairy french toast casserole'. It's a sort of bread and butter pudding with marzipan, loads of sugar on the bottom of the tin and the dry bread, eight eggs, a little bit of milk and then almonds and sprinkles tipped over the top to distract away from the spectacle of burned sugar welded to the bottom, then dried out French Stick slices, more sugar, then a savoury almond and lemon omelette mix dumped over the bread left to fester rest overnight.


It sounds right up JM's niche.

the only sugar in the ingredients list is icing sugar. is that what you're using to combine with yeast? ok then

and, presumably you used your icing sugar to combine with yeast, so that explains the lack of thick icing

I was such an emo that I had a DeadJournal. It was a LiveJournal clone but the UI was black, and the icon was a skull (or maybe a gravestone?). Jack would've been there.

(I later dropped emo level and just had a boring old LiveJournal like everyone else, but I made sure all the interests on my profile were unique so they didn't become links. So cool.)

Aaaaaah, I love that we've all found different mistakes in this one recipe! Every new pair of eyes spots a new problem.

She must have missed some other sugar out of the ingredients, as it says to mix the yeast with the sugar, but then later on you're meant to mix the icing sugar with the yogurt 🤔. Summats missing.
 
Sometimes (actually quite often) I laugh so much that when I want to select the 🤣 , my finger slides off.

and needing to quote myself like a knob but @Jay-cloth Cow , I saw that I included your quote but I obvs was not laughing at what you wrote. Rather I wanted to write a lengthy reply saying that what you wrote is me in every detail. I didn't want to mix my replies in one post and forget to delete the other part.
