To see that poor squiggle manipulated into backing down from a reasonable point is absolutely horrific. The fact that someone who's experienced actual pain and loss can be wound into apologising for that, to a woman who has had endless privilege and opportunities in her life, yet chooses to complain about it all. If this is what a random person in the Twitter replies gets, I don't want to think about what Jack's done to her partners :(

This is exactly how I feel.

She is basically the ultimate version of the Facebook friend almost everyone has who checks into a hospital and waits for the “U K hun?”s to roll in and has a specific number in mind before she reveals anything other than “I’ll inbox you love xxx.”

Everything is so manipulative with her. I always think she can’t shock me more with that and then somehow she manages.

I know a few people have wondered if LJC is in on it all and they’re birds of a feather, it’s an act. I really hope so, that it’s just a game to them both and it’s not how it seems from the recipe tweet, the bitchy swipes and the general seeming disdain.
 
Jack constantly changing her identity and pronouns is anything but helpful to the trans community imo. As she's relatively well-known (on Twitter at least), it just adds more fuel to the fire for the people who assume that gender changes are an extended form of attention seeking!! She changes her pronouns whenever the wind changes in the gender identity debate, just so she gets an opportunity to shout and claw at whoever accidentally gets them wrong. For her, something that's personal and important to many people is just another way to manipulate her audience. It's just insulting.

It winds me up actually, she wasn't really ever as poor as she's made out and now she is in a much better place financially whilst millions more aren't, and have actually become regular food bank users, not just the one time Jack was forced to.

She's done nothing to help her crusade. Nothing. The situation has got worse, the FSM have got worse, more kids are starving, more people in food & fuel poverty. You've done nothing but bettered your own life, Jack.

They copied the face exactly, had the smarties on the back and the packaging was really similar.

Most of the other supermarkets have a totally different face, and often different stuff on the back - ie not smartie style candies. Sains probably are sailing close to the wind with the face but the name is Wiggles which I suspect is to make it clear it’s different and the packaging is different.
