I'm not a massive TV cooking viewer but I watched the daily kitchen lives on the back of these threads and the contrast between Jack and all the other guest cooks/chefs was huge.
There's really no screen presence at all when not relating the really old story of the time she couldn't get childcare and was poor.
I fully sympathise with her original story, I have struggled with working and single parenting due to my exes shift pattern. I also know many mums (it's *almost* always mum's) who've had to leave decent jobs or down grade their journey on the career ladder because of lack of wraparound affordable childcare. I still find it very difficult now and I have so many friends who apply for every school job going in the hope of getting term time only work.
Childcare is a genuine and massive issue for those of us who don't have a supportive family or friends network.
Seriously, Activist Jack would be better off beating the childcare / excessive school holidays drum than persevering with the slop battle.
It's not as attractive or glamorous as being an angry wannabe TV chef but she genuinely has lived experience with this and its a subject that massively impacts working families across the board.
She would likely get a lot more kudos tackling an important subject and using her platform to champion a real cause rather than slating Jamie oliver or trying to wedge her way into the piers Morgan mess.

Excuse various typos 😬🙊

If Jack stops grifting and stops the Patreon and stays off socials for good we can turn this into a Nadiya rave thread
I’m staying if we can count random things - teeth, chairs, tins...

Being harassed online = googling my name and look up negative comments.

Do you think Tom Cruise says, I’m not making another Mission Impossible movie because there are threads online about me supposedly sticking fish up my bum. Err no (also I don’t think Scientologists are allowed on the internet so Jack should join).

I am known as a constant tea drinker but I would a) not drink that much in such a short period and b) would not go near slow cooker tea after the first 30 mins or so. Tea doesn't do so well being reheated (I'd rather drink it cold) so I cannot imagine the foulness of Jack's concoction.
Tea also stains and taints, god knows what the slow cookers are like 🤢
