A squig asked her about it not long ago and a screenshot was posted on here. She said it was a gift from an ex. It's seen in very old Instagram photos so I guessed it was from Allegra. Definitely wasn't Louisa. Now she's impying she bought it herself? 😫

Yeah, SB won't give a flying tit about it.

Please just watch it. I knew Russel back in those times, he dated a good friend of mine. I related to every single scene. I knew the characters he portrayed, the derelict hospital they reopened just for AIDS patients, the guy they kept locked in hospital against his will, the guys who were in denial, the hedonism, the promiscuity, the guys whose parents were horrible. It was all true. It brought back memories both happy and sad.

I am not ashamed to say I cried.

I had to ration my viewings because each one haunted me for days afterwards (Colin especially).
I was small in the 80s and only saw the ads and the posters in the GP surgery.
I knew gay men were ostracised but had no idea to the extent particularly as the illness progressed, and the quarantines and awful practices put in place.
Without being Jack about it, I’m a hard witch but I sobbed at it. It’s far more than a programme; it’s felt like a real mirror up to society.

I’m sure her landlady really appreciates her not heating the house in the winter when she can clearly afford to.
The damage she must be doing reminds me of a tenant of my in-law’s leaving having been late with rent for months (they aren’t professional landlords and probably a bit too nice). Anyway they showed up at the house and it had been vacated and the whole house was full of damp and the tenants had left hydroponic equipment as had clearly been growing weed.
Landlords get a lot of criticism, some of it valid but I feel really bad for Jack’s LL as she probably has to walk on eggshells around her too.

I thought she said she didn’t get any of the Hopkins money? Does anyone have the receipt for that?
brass neck of someone who says they are 6 months behind on rent but can buy all this tit.
I hope there are lots of jobsworths working for HMRC who go through her tax returns with a fine toothed comb. Does anyone know when company accounts get put on companies house?

I was just coming here to say the same thing! This kind of behaviour gives people who RENT a bad name. The heating isn't just for you to feel toasty and warm, it's to protect the fabric of the building as well as all your kajillion posessions. Hope your Emin gets wrinkles, you irresponsible old miser.

It’s on my to watch when I’m not pregnant - I cried at the news the other day when a chap got dismissed from the army and his medals taken away in the 90s just because he was gay. I hope I can raise my son to feel like he can always be himself (unless he’s a head...) and know I’ll always support him (again unless he’s a head)

It was all going to be donated to a charity I thought....🧐
 
The Hopkins money has variously paid for 4 holidays, funded her abandoned run for parliament, been donated to charity, and paid back the friends who had paid her rent while she couldn't work because the run-up to the trial was stressful.

To be fair, she has always mentioned that it paid for the sofa too, though she stresses that it is a SMALL sofa.
