She's so, so boring...for what it's worth she was what, 17 in 2005, when did she start in the FS again? - she seems to be talking about knowing this in order to show competence in training, but likely wouldn't have had to actually do any of the things she describing live? or at very best, it was required of her very briefly - she talks about it as if it was a career spent reeling off info on the phone...

Apologies if anyone has already read this or posted it (i know its so last year!) and also that i don't know how to provide a link to the article but only know how to screen shot 😁
This is unbelievable if you didn't know any better you'd swear it was a parody...SHE NEARLY DIED SEVERAL TIMES UNDER CONSERVATIVE LEAD AUSTERITY MEASURES....What?...(and there is more)
I don't know why i'm shaking my head in disbelief but i am?
Of course i've heard her poverty story a million times but never told in these very melodramatic terms....

I don't understand. What would that show? A direct correlation between being a landlord and voting against the poors? (Being pithy here, I don't intend to offend) That landlords are evil when they're MPs but not if they're people related to Jack? I bet if Jack had the opportunity to be a landlord she would jump at the opportunity for a passive income - and, what's more, she would be a third generation landlord. Practically the devil personified.

I actually came here to copy and paste something I wrote on the Joe Wicks thread but is also applicable to Jack: I can't stand influencers who actively choose to have an unconventional job and then act like it's a chore for them and like they're selflessly enduring it for others, rather than solely for their own personal gain. Just get a real job and be happy.

ETA I have just finished my grunk and saw the original tweet re cladding. I thought she was just on another 'landlords and MPs are evil' rant

Love this comment.

Jack seriously needs to sit this one out. I hope someone replies with her dad’s limited company for properties tbh. I lived in a block with this cladding, post Grenfell, and the anxiety is unbearable. We were privileged in that we could just go and buy our house earlier than expected to get out, but in that period my anxiety was absolutely insane. I was on the top floor and the block was majorly overcrowded so I knew I’d die if there was a fire, I had no chance at getting out. It’s such a complex combination of many, many issues that she just cannot understand as she’s been renting huge houses in the country for her whole life? duck off she’s such an insufferable bleep, she’s clearly been on Reddit where the bail out funds are being discussed still.

Hope her tit book sells 3 copies head

Please tell me what capacity you have been working with these families?

I really have worked with marginalised people living in poverty. the stroke victim who is found fit for work, the woman who had a brain bleed who is fit for work despite not being able to walk in a straight line any more, the man with schizophrenia who is about to be evicted and is stealing food because he can't cope with the benefit system and the illiterate alcoholic who brings all his mail to be read because he can't do it himself.

What have you actually done to help people like these? Have you gone out into your local community and volunteered? Have you passed out parcels at a foodbank or have you just sent a few tweets and wrote a few articles for middle class Guardian readers.

She can’t do near them I’m sure, she might catch ‘The Poverty’ again. She’s isolating in her big bungalow with expensive goods to be safe.

His snotty attitude about the foster kids, and general way he comes across in interviews would suggest to me he'd be one of those mean landlords too. The ones who always put off doing jobs around the house, and are really persnickety about your bond.

When she was talking about his rented property being not fit for human habitation as if that made her family low income? No boo boo, it means he was slum landlord until the council shut it down... and allowed people to live in disgusting dwellings. Which also makes your beloved Grandad the same if it was bequethed to your Dad... alongside the fact he rented out guesthouse space in the 80s.

Thanks. I've just discovered timeteam on YouTube, they have a patreon and classic episodes up. Trying to bring it back.. and I'm old and I've loved Phil Harding in a platonic way for 20 years.

OT, me and Mr WT have been binge watching all the old series of Time Team on All4 during lockdown. We are big fans of Phil. And also quite old. In fact when I saw your username I did a double take in case it was Mr WT following my whereabouts online 😂.

On topic: whodathunkit? Book deadline and an ouchy ear?

NHS Jack...yes I agree it's underfunded. There are those however, that choose to attend A+E for shimmery eyes and completely waste resources.

JM sending investigative journalists looking elsewhere... During a period where the backstory/competence and general failure to deliver on paid contracts is under the spotlight.
