Israeli - Palestinian Conflict #21

I have been checking the Keir Starmer thread to see if there has been any mention of the visit by Herzl Halevi but can't see anything about it.

Apparently the UK government says they are giving 50 million to Syria. Assad owns the same valued properties in the UK.
But I am wondering if Israel is thinking they may be able to get their hands on it somehow.

Its is all so devastating I’m a very positive person and I always see the glass half full but this genocide is beyond heinous the glass is bone dry.
Regarding human shields yeh the IDF have used Palestinians as shields for years this is a common practice.
The Israeli government claiming that Hamas are using civilians as shields is hypocritical and a rubbish excuse for a Genocide because Israel has military installations dotted all over the place in civilian areas as do most other countries.
The pentagon is a prime example imagine a military attacking the pentagon killing all the people inside and then claiming that it was a legitimate target because there were military personnel inside and in fact anywhere in the general vicinity is also legitimate and any civilians killed were actually killed by the US because the US was using them as human shields come on the world would think it was a ridiculous concept and a crime no matter what and they would be right.
Nobody could take that kind of logic seriously yet here we are and the world thinks this ok in Gaza and that it’s a legitimate excuse for committing a Genocide.

It's blatantly apparent that every accusation by Israel and the IDF is a confession. And they've had decades of practice in spin-doctoring their atrocities, deflecting and gaslighting to twist the optics and makes themselves out to be the victims. The manipulation is off the charts!

Trying to find out whether political assassinations are legal for, uh, reasons, and doesn’t this just sum things up -

Daniel Reisner, who headed the International Legal Division of the Israeli Military Advocate General's Office from 1994 to 2005,[166] has stated that although targeted killing is illegal under previous understanding of international law, "If you do something for long enough, the world will accept it. The whole of international law is now based on the notion that an act that is forbidden today becomes permissible if executed by enough countries."[167] Reisner continues, "International law progresses through violations. We invented the targeted assassination thesis and we had to push it. At first there were protrusions that made it hard to insert easily into the legal moulds. Eight years later it is in the center of the bounds of legitimacy."

Also fascinating to note that the vast majority of the ‘legal justifications for targeted killing’ section cites examples from Israel https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Targeted_killing

Yeh and another crime is the complicity of the media because what Israel is doing in Syria is illegal yet if you try to enquire about the legality of these attacks there is nothing apart from maybe Al Jazeera and the UN but there is nothing from the regular press.

Abu Diaa, you lived being the best of us, while facing the worst.
We shared your grief and now we share your loss.
Reem, Tarek and their Jiddo...may you be showered with blessings by He who knows best in these matters, to Him we belong and to Him we return x
On a religious/spiritual level it really does feel like we are all in purgatory (maybe even hell) and those who die are the ones makings it to heaven.

Netanyahu on his way to Cairo for ceasefire negotiations, apparently.
Yeh he’s another Blinken it’s clear that the ceasefire talks were just a means to buy time for the annihilation of the Palestinians how many times have we been told it’s close now?
Netanyahu also has the need to avoid the courtroom apparently he’s been dodging his trial by any means necessary so I’m sure he would love to negotiate for the first time 🤢

So, Hamas are positive about the ceasefire negotiations as long as Israel stop changing their conditions...it seems the 'terrorists' are the ones you can negotiate with!
So, Israel are positive with not bringing new conditions to the table? Not changing conditions?

What little there is left to negotiate over, Israel plan to control the Palestinians either way in any resolve!

Trump was on the phone with him the other day, can just imagine the conversation- “you gotta do a deal, bibi, you gotta do a deal.”
This deal, it's the best deal, so many people, they know, no better deal is there, no one has seen a deal like it.
In Egypt, they are Egyptian with pyramids, just now a man told me, Bibi better accept this bigger than the pyramids deal, I told him Bibi, the name I call you, he will say yes...or I can try another way, you won't like it!

Is how I imagine the call...😬

I came on early to say there was chatter about a ceasefire but didn’t want to get anyone’s hopes up because it was released on Israel’s channel 14 and the deal on the table was
Dozens of Israeli “captives” for 700-1000 Palestinian “prisoners”
60 day ceasefire
Return of displaced to northern Gaza

but almost immediately the Israelis said - nobody is returning to Jabalia

then the delightful snotrich said there would never be a Palestinian state.

So I think there will be some kind of ceasefire that favours Israel but the same MO as the ceasefire in Lebanon eg there isn’t one!

This is the world we live in. Where the murder of a CEO is a terrible tragedy and anyone who supports it is deplorable.

But on the other hand murdering Palestinian children is legally acceptable, even desirable. And you can celebrate it, lie about it, execute it with impunity.

This ceasefire is another piece of baloney. It will be like all the others. Gazanians will be going to check their homes and IOF will murder them and Hamas will retaliate and the genocide perpetrators will say Hamas has broken the ceasefire and hostages exchange will stop and Gaza will be pummelled again.

The UK ceased 30 out of 350 weapon licenses in September, one of the licences still in place is for the supply of F35 jet parts that are used to bomb Gaza.

I wonder if Netanyapuh is blackmailing countries to keep supplying them and giving them free reign in Gaza and surrounds because the others have supplied information that has lead to the murder of civilians, aid workers etc.
Something like the UK spy plane, if they were involved in the April aid workers deaths.

Britain doesn’t want to upset the Americans and jeopardise the “special relationship “ 🙄.
What’s special about a one sided relationship where there is no autonomy it sounds more like coercive control to me, plus the leaders have no morality themselves and they want to stay in the club and cream the benefits aka cash at any cost kerching 💰
