Israeli - Palestinian Conflict #21

It's never going to stop is it?? Honestly, what do we tell our children when they grow up? We have utterly failed as a society, I hope they grow up strong enough to rip us all a new one for allowing this to happen.
You tell your children that we all adhered to and accepted the legal definition of genocide- when they argue, as my children would about the intention of a war criminal, terrorist and others of the Knesset...we say there was no INTENT of genocide.
My 5 year old does not understand legal definitions but does understand that children being killed in a school building or hospital is not kind!

Occupiers can’t have a war with the people they occupy 🥴
Was there 'intent' to occupy? No, just like genocide...it just happens.
Yes, you are probably convinced by Tzipi and co that when they say about eliminating Palestinian humans/building illegal settlements/Palestinians being animals...shows intent-but it is just terrorists they are talking about-oh wait, no...all Palestinians!

Well, this is awkward ☺️

Oh yes, I was a paid shill wasn't I?

Clinton makes excellent points

Let take it that his version of events is what happened, but of course the next generation can still complain about the outcome? This is too akin to the concept of "original sin" to me. Children are not responsible for the sins of their fathers, they shouldn't have to live with the consequences of their actions.

Striking and storming Kamal Adwan hospital without warning!

Hospitals, their staff, patients and vehicles are protected by international law.
WHO confirm this was an attack without warning.

So, if an 'organisation' did not adhere to international law, attacked a hospital without warning and instilled panic into staff and patients...what would we call that organisation who inflict terror? 🤔

He's no kid in a keffiyeh on TikTok, I'll give you that
You are right Jen, you get it...a kid on TikTok has more integrity!

I don't think a keffiyeh goes with the outfit?!

It’s ok to be morally bankrupt and a politician if you say something Jen likes. Word on the street in the US was that Clinton’s little outburst was one of the reasons the young turned away from the Dems. Great 👍🏻 work from a solid fellow.

Absolute slander he categorically did not touch that woman 😳 he is the the most moral leader in history second only to Netanyahu 🤑

Kennedy was a serial cheat, Churchill was a raging alcoholic. It doesn't mean they can't also be good leaders. Clinton's private life doesn't alter the fact that he was instrumental in brokering the Good Friday Agreement. And it doesn't alter the fact he went to considerable lengths to broker peace in the middle east too.

'Intent' is the key word in the legal, internationally understood definition of 'genocide'.

Look up Craig Mokhiber, director of human rights body resignation letter from last year. October 23 I think it was.

“The current wholesale slaughter of the Palestinian people, rooted in an ethno-nationalist colonial settler ideology, in continuation of decades of their systematic persecution and purging, based entirely upon their status as Arabs … leaves no room for doubt. This is text book case of genocide”

He knows a thing or two about Genocides from his decades of work in helping prove & evidence them. And, the definition? Craig openly stated that Intent is often the hardest element to prove.
But in this instance - it’s been handed over on a plate.

I’ll take his expert view on this over yours a million times over Jen. Just saying.

Jen, Churchill was quite problematic...is that still ok?
Are we not mentioning the Bengal famine? The death of thousands? Amongst many other things.

Hitler and Bin Laden were good leaders!

Did someone say intent is the key word in the legally, internationally understood definition of genocide? Who would have known that on here? Good job we didn’t watch the SA case where they meticulously went through every bit of “intent” that spewed out of the mouths of senior Israeli politicians & senior military figures. Good job Amnesty international didn’t look at 102 statements made by senior officals or the 80 pages in their report which pin points the exact examples of intent. Stupid of SA and AA not to look at intent especially when you’re bringing a legal case and you don’t even understand what the legal international definition of genocide is. Guess they should have popped in to tattle to get this new to everyone information.

Guys the jigs up for us, Jen has got us bang to rights, let’s all just sign off now cos there’s no intent so there’s no genocide. I think we should probs thank Jen on the way out for her amazing hot take on intent in genocide which is news.

Yeah, so that Amnesty International report? Didn't read it, but we disagree with their findings of genocide okay? Twenty some odd days left in the Biden presidency and Vedant Patel keeps phoning it in. "Said that's an opinion and you are certainly welcome and you are entitled to it..." 😤

I was asked (several times) what I believed the definition of genocide to be and I gave the answer. The reason I didn't answer the first few times is because replies like yours were so tediously predictable.

How's the window display?
